i been to Mumbai and Manila and i saw how advanced and developed these 2 mega cities but still Manila is far superior to mumbai most particularly BGC it is really closed to Miami or Singapore vibes. very clean, adavanced, wellplanned and organized

Singapore is in a different league. Their roads don't have potholes, their buildings are built very clean and the finishing has very high quality and workmanship.

BGC is only 2.4 kilometres square 🤣 both Mumbai and Manila are dirty ugly slum cities 🤮

❤❤❤ I adore Makati City, especially because it is home to the best mall in the Philippines, GREENBELT MALL. The unique and peaceful nature of the garden and trees make it worthwhile to visit. I'm confident you'll like that mall. Seeing as how you two are in Makati, you might want to go check it out for yourself. Cheers.

Manila makati even though does not look like singapore, its definitely uncompareable to mumbai or delhi. I don't understand why people want to degrade manila by comparing it with delhi and mumbai.

Makati was the first city to develop in the ASEAN which began in the 50s. It was the benchmark of the ASEAN members when Jakarta Bangkok KL SG were still slum areas. Singapore was a big slum area up until the 60s when it got kicked out of the Malaysian federation. Jakarta and Bangkok were poor cities up until the early 80s until their governments did something to make it happen. Lee Kwan Yew also copied many ideas of Ferdinand E Marcos when it was just starting. SG imported foreign talent hence the speed of progress. The Singaporeans KNOW it because to this day, they employ foreigners and foreign talent. All you have to do is walk in Ayala Avenue and you will see how different it is compared to Bangkok and KL As for Poblacion, it did NOT exist before. That area was residential until Makati grew and grew. Also, when the family of mayors took over, they violated the ordinance of underground cabling which was the law of that city.

I like Makati more because it is more organic. I also like real street food that is I like Makati. As a Filipino, I have more choices in the neighborhood. I can live cheaper than BGC

You could have taken the MRT and LRT from Cubao to Ayala. There was no need to take other kinds of transport. Both train stations are very handy.

Both are poor and have a lot of slums. It’s hilarious how filipinos brag about how they’re better than India when they’re extremely poor as well. Pot calling kettle black.
