She Shoots Pacific: supporting the next generation of visual storytellers

While gender gaps are slowly reducing in many industries - including in the media - the vast majority of people working ~behind~ the camera in the Pacific are men. A new ABC pilot program called 'She Shoots Pacific', delivered through the Pacific Media Assistance Scheme (PACMAS), is working to give more women the chance to lift their visual storytelling skills and take the lead, behind the camera. The Fiji Times’ Fane Ledua shares her experiences of being part of the first She Shoots Pacific pilot.
