Hi Prem After Esxi 5.x VMware released 2 diagnostic partitions 1 with 110mb and another with 2.5gb see esxi partitions videos in my channel for more details. If 2.5gb is also not sufficient or if we use SD or USB for Esxi installation we can forward the dump logs to data-store.

Bro is it mandate to set 2.5 gb partition as active or can we leave it to default. What will happen if my 110 is not sufficient to store dump.
