I would've never expected to find a song with so much _soul_ in Sonic 4. It's definitely up there with Genesis bangers. Episode I was a total cashgrab that should've been kept as Sonic the Portable, but Episode II showed that there was _potential._ Songs like Sky Fortress Act 3 or Metal Sonic Battle, as well as videos like Mechanist Gamma's "The Secret Story of Sonic 4" are what makes me wish Sonic 4 got another chance, whether from Sega or the fans. *EDIT:* Oh and Episode 1's Mad Gear had some good music music too.
+KTAVERILL you know what I'm not going be that guy and say that you're wrong. This type of thing is subjective. Normally I'm pretty good at hearing songs within in songs but I can't hear marble zone in this at all 👍🏻
Easily the best sonic 4 episode 2 song, not only this song sounds epic and threatening, but its easily became one of my favourite classic sonic songs and levels, and its much less tedious than wing fortress as well, and boy, the smooth flow of act 3 has to be some of the best sonic level design ive ever played! (unlike the rest of the game which sucked)
