The dishwasher need to be improved, as it is not sutable for Indian, kitchen, due to variety of food cooked in kitchen. You have to come up with novel ideas, with 10x benefits at least, current one is 1/2x 😉

Dishwasher detergent can be used for any amount of utensils.... count doesn't matter at all. It is cheaper than the tablet. I've been using finish detergent with good results. 1 kg detergent lasts bit over 2months

Tablet is actually waster of money. It does not work during Pre-rinse cycle, where minor amount of detergent is needed.
A quick hack is to load the utensils as they are finished using....saves time

Certain things are wrong in the video. Extra dry option only comes by default in Turbo mode .It can also show up in all modes when you have inadequate rinse aid . In your video the rinse aid icon indicator is blinking, meaning there is very little rinse aid in the compartment, hence the extra dry is lit up.

@Truth n Logic Yes you can skip rinse aid and salt, my water from cauvery has a TDS of 120 to 200 depending on the monsoons. Yet I still use sale albeit at lowest setting which lasts couple of months. Rinse aid is set to zero since I use tablet. If power goes the machine will start from the last cycle begining time, the machine has 3 cycles pre wash, main wash, final rinse. If power goes after completing main wash cycle , then it will resume from the beginning of final rinse. But if power goes during pre wash or main wash, it will start from first.
@Truth n Logic Thus far I have not seen power fluctuation to cause it to restart, since it has a inverter motor, it will mostly have a SMPS type dc power supply which typically have a wide voltage range, but logic states that if there is low voltage then the heater circuit will not function, this can happen in any company dishwasher. Regarding the HE error thus far I have not seen it, since I use mostly Auto where the water is heated to 55C, people who report HE error are those who use options like steam,(100+C) and extra temp(85C) both of these two options will have a toll on the heating element which shortens the life of the heating element, this is just common sense. Just like in water geyser if you increase the thermostat temperature to above factory setting of 60C, the water heating element will fail faster.
@Truth n Logic Dishwasher are newer trend in India vs say a washing machine, since this model is a direct import from Korea, it will take them time to stock up on parts, its the same with any other dishwasher, including bosch/siemens, beko which are also directly imported. Typically they stock up parts which fail often. Then also it will take time for it to rotate within India, say if a part is located in another city.

The steam will be coming out because of hot water even if the steam option is deselected….

Excellent and informative. Esp liked how to load vessels one on top of the other, and still they come out clean. Secondly , info about the turbo cycle was v helpful, drastically cuts down washing time and is equally effective. Better to use the extra dry option,otherwise hot water from some vessels may fall on your hands, while taking the vessels out. Thanks.

I noticed few utensils looking wet... once the program ends, keep the door closed for around 10mins & then open....99% utensils will be dry in the quick cycle (38mins) & even turbo cycle (58mins) without even choosing Extra Dry function

Ya I use turbo for daily wash without extra dry n with steam option on.. It cleans perfectly n dry...

@@seethudiya6425 i soak all utensils in water, in the sink, immediately after use. For utensils like cutlery, that aren't hard stained, i put in the dishwasher immediately after use or a light water wash to remove any food particles.
For milk, tea, kadai (basically any hard stained utensils), i just scrub with steel wool for a second...hardly 2-3 utensils have hard stuck stains in an entire load. Soaking in water for few mins easily removes any hard stains

It’s not mandatory to add salt , but to shine the dishes it is recommended to add rinse aid once in 15 days….
Salt is needed to balance hard water. Get your water tested or hardness. TDS meter to test water hardness is available on Amazon for 250/-.

Dish washer 's washing quality is very good but the washing program didn't resume after any Power fail.now a days this is the main feature but it is absent in LG DISH WASHER.if in any cycle power cut happens more than one time the cycle starts from beginning,cousing machine to run for long hours.

Program gets resume if power goes during rinse process. You can connect it to wifi. If you know the enough time has gone while doing cleaning, you can switch the program to rinse only option.

I was told by the LG executive that the machine requires cleaning per month and there's a special liquid for it. On LG website, it says Machine clean can be done via white vinegar. Can you tell what is to be used and how?

There is no need to clean the machine with any liquid or vinegar….but yes we need to clean the drain Net and we also need to use the rinse aid, there is no need to use the dishwasher salt. And you just need to use the dish washer tablet or dishwasher detergent for washing the dishes….I hope I answered your question….

My vessels are not cleaning properly at 2 hours cycle... And sometime vassales Or glass feel soapy.. Even I put very less detregnt
You need to arrange the vessels upside down….
Use 6-8 grams of detergent. See that Rinse Aid is not above number 2 setting. Excess Rinse Aid also make utensils soapy. if you do not get good results, revert back.

I think she overloaded the dishes - ones overlapped the others .I don't think they were cleaned properly / completely ... My LG dishwasher is a newer model and doesn't have any other compartment except the ones for POD and RINSE liquid ....

Stir the salt by opening the salt chamber with a spoon. Do it carefully. Sometimes in LG the salt signal keeps on blinking despite refill. One thing more, add full 1 kg salt whenever the salt indicator blinks, never add a fraction of 1 kg. Always run a short cycle after filling salt to ensure that salt does not remain in the dishwasher tub, it may cause corrosion in long run.

@Truth n Logic I believe that you are a prospective user/buyer of Dishwasher. Hard water adversely affects cleaning and drying of utensils. By adding salt to the water softening system, located in the bottom of the dishwasher, you can soften water. Hard water also results in deposition of calcium in Dishwasher, which is bad for machine. Rinse aid helps in preventing formation of water drops so that water can easily slip from utensils and Dishwasher, speeding drying process of utensils. It also gives shine. A TDS meter worth 250/- will help you to know the water hardness. You can regulate rinse aid flow accordingly. Generally Salt lasts for a month and rinse aid lasts for 15 days. If you use a 3 in 1 tablet, which comprises salt, rinse aid and detergent, you don't need salt and rinse aid. Washing with tablet is 5 times expensive, as compared to using chemicals separately.

LG Dishwasher has a big problem. If power goes in mid of a cycle, the cycle doesn't resume from the last stage. It gets extended by 40 to 100 minutes. I returned LG dishwasher after using it for 15 months.

@@PolojuShivani i have posted more than 100 posts on different TH-cam channels about LG and Voltas Beko dishwashers as well as dishwashing. LG dishwasher comes with 2 years warranty. On page number 24 of the LG manual, it is specifically mentioned that the cycle will resume from the last stage, after power outage. You should register your complaint on the LG helpline. LG doesn't listen unless you register on their helpline . Send letters to LG M D. and Chairman, as well as local sales Executives. Tell them that as the performance is not satisfactory, THERE IS DEFICIENCY IN SERVICE. Deficiency in service is legal term, used in Consumer Protection Act. It took me 2 month's to get total refund.

Mine gives white spots all over my dishes. Sometimes if i keep plates close by one side will not be cleaned. I am new to using this. After researching i have kept hardness level at highest and increased rinse level as well. Still problem is not solved. I am out of 50k and still have uncleaned utensils. Any suggestions?

Im too facing same issues, along with that I'm facing burning smell issue, could you please confirm whether you are facing it or not, please be observed closely (less than 5cm) just above the display panel ( at gap) after running machine 40 minutes ( if you selected 1:25 or 59 minutes program)

I think you can use tablet (all in one) + salt with H4 option. So that, water gets soft. My water supply is 800+, so far good result.
