Maybe a little insight into what was ACTUALLY wrong with what they did would be helpful? All I heard was "mold and fungus exposure" which can be caused from several factors.
Get a legitimate licensed contractor to go through the home from top to bottom and then you will find out what did and did not pass inspection. Or, call the City for them to send out their contractors to go from top to bottom. The City can also let you know if permits were pulled as required by law.

I don't see mold in that dry wall pic with the gas valve. Not sure if that one picture is a sort of humidifier, but the homeowner is responsible for cleaning. As a carpenter for 30 years since I was 18 , rule #1 never buy a house from a flipper or worse a tv flipper. #2 I highly doubt multiple inspections never found anything. I don’t know what that market is like but where I’m from that price seems incredibly low for a newly renovated home
they didn't show the underside of the cabinets. Water leaking throughout the walls and cabinets is what is causing the mold, mildew and other problems. These are actually very serious health hazards and can be deadly.

Had an issue with one of the contractors from HGTV for a patio enclosure. I paid my deposit plus money for subcontractors, who weren’t paid and came after me. They pressured me for more despite the roof leaking and the patio never being enclosed. I sent them an email saying that they would be paid in full as soon as the work was completed to my satisfaction I never heard from them again. It was never finished
also, the contractors board here is WORTHLESS!!!! would never hire one here in this town, three friends have contacted the board, made sure the contractor was legit and their money was STILL STOLEN and the board updated the licenses as revoked at the same time ITS ALL AN INSIDE JOB
