I actually don't understand how the United System can be so simple, yet versatile, most villains feel unique, and each game is usually so close. My mind can't make it make sense. I love Marvel (and now DC) United.
United is an excellent system. You have your easier villains like Red Skull, but when fighting more dynamic villains it often gets to one or two turns being the difference between victory and defeat.
I'm more of a Marvel guy, but man, the United system has matured so much with this release. Compared to Season 1 Marvel it's a totally evolved game, and the characters are very distinctive. And it definitely seems like a slight refinement on Season 3. Batman in particular really shows the kind of options they're able to design into characters now. Also really dig Joker's villain design, looks like it'll be a sweet Core box for retail buyers.
Fun playthrough! I bought a bundle on a sale a year or so ago with the first box, Into the Spider-verse expansion and Dr Strange in a little booster box or something. Havn't played it... I should get on that to help me decide if I should back this.
Drats! Foiled by Joker's popularity! I was hoping to see Cheetah or Darkseid. Wonderful playthrough though, excited to see more of this game as it comes out
Fun video fellas! CMON...... you need to release an small equipment pack expansion for at least the orignal base game ( gotta have caps shield! ) :) and maybe xman base.
@@roadjcat I always take the equipment over the wilds when they're available. The double wilds are often more useful, but the decision of when to use equipment is much more thematic and fun than just getting two of whatever you need. I do keep the wilds for characters without equipment though. I most likely won't use the new generic equipment much, but will use anything character-specific.
@@LilBoyHexley I've been playing with the Multiverse set and the villains are quite difficulg this time around IMO, so I just can't justify sacrificing the wild haha

Looks great.
I bet it was hard for Tom and team to avoid saying “Marvel” when referencing the other “United System” products
Lol
He handed a thug that he knocked out to z instead of putting it on the thug tracker
Really fun playthrough! I am going to wait for my marvel united content to come before deciding if I need this. Looks good, though!
Great finish! Thanks for sharing - looking forward to adding this to my Marvel S1 - S3 😅

Other channels have played with Darkseid and Cheetah. One Stop Coop Shop played Darkseid. BoardGameCo played against Cheetah.

If you backed Multiverse then you will get equipments for many of the original heroes and x-men heroes.
From what I saw of the listing, the Multiverse core box at retail has the “Retail equipment cards” included.
Dear CMON....
JUST.
TAKE.
MY.
MONEY!

If there’s no Green Lanterns, it’s a pass for me.
They'll definitely have Hal Jordan released somewhere during the campaign. A Green Lantern Corp expansion is also likely.
@@scotthenderson1762 You’d like to think…
I think a Green Lantern Corps expansion is likely but will it be in this campaign? I hope so. Also, I need Green Arrow! :)
@@jameslarochelle8501 They have a Green Lantern expansion now, but no Hal Jordan.
Why would you ever play with the wilds anyways?
Why wouldn't you? Haha I haven't gotten the Multiverse set yet but in the Spider-Geddon one, I always opt for the wilds over the equipment

@@roadjcati have always played with no double wilds to all heroes even if they dont have equipments. The game is too easy if some have double wilds.
@@laxuscloud2495 Depends on the villain. Some are stupid difficult haha
