- I recreated outfits from vintage Ralph Lauren adverts from the 80s and 90s ✨
Vintage Ralph Lauren ad campaigns really are the OG "old money" inspiration, and because of RL's timelessness, all of the outfits are still very wearable today.
I wanted to see if I could recreate these classic looks from items I already had in my wardrobe, and was able to get them pretty close!

I have been an RL Ad fan for a long time. During a track meet in 2007 with my kids’ school, a mother from another school came up to me and said I looked like a RL Ad. Best fashion compliment ever!. It was scorching hot so I was channeling RL Safari-cream and brown with a big straw hat😊 She obviously was a RL Ad fan to have made the connection. 😊

Love those tights and black jumper dress over the white top SO your style, likely not great on me. The all white outfit is a classic so yes...always with a tan belt, my Panama hat is a smaller brimmed tropical fedora style always a classic in the tropics where the best quality Panamas are made in ECUADOR . My friend owns a resort here in volcano country in LatinAmerica she has her son in law fly in with boxes of them as his luggage she sells them in her gift store. I own two with different sized crowns. A higher crown gives the illusion of height which is important to me at 5'4".
