B F Burda You are guaranteed one bomb during video mode always. During gameplay you can get Martian bombs in two ways: Light Martian Attack and then spell MARTIAN again will give you one bomb. Do it again for another bomb. Or, with Martian Attack lit (or during the Attack phase) you light Stroke of Luck, the mystery will award you one bomb. These are used to spot one of the 4 Martians you must shoot during the Attack Phase. Shooting all 4 starts Martian MB.

If you're unfamiliar with the phase I'm talking about, it's once Martian Attack (white insert) is lit at scoop, shoot the scoop and all 4 martians begin to bounce up and down. You must shoot each of the 4 martians to start Martian MB. It's during this phase that you can use a bomb to spot one of the bouncing martians. Does that make sense?

Yes. So, a bomb will kill all saucers (or cows) on screen during video play AND/OR spot a martian to start Martian Multi-Ball. Thanx, ß
