Hey! Thank you so much for posting this in such high-quality, (and apparently for correcting the title). Either way, drummers and big band jazz fans the world over thank you. Buddy is fine form here at nearly 64 yrs old.
God could do anything , at anytime and at any speed oh and with either hand ❤
Jazz drummer... (died: 1987. April. 2) (HU)
There's a reason he's called the "World's Greatest Drummer". It's on display right here.
Great 👍
It was really good i liked the drum solo
Stories of Buddy being difficult to work with are legendary. But listen to this band compared to any big band since the era's hey day--the band performs flawlessly, time and time again. The "ghost bands," the bands "in name only" past the 1950s were terrible, with sloppy play and poor time. In Buddy's band, not a squeak or squank anywhere. That is what discipline brings you.
Playing together almost every day doesn't hurt...
Bernard Buddy Rich should have been a Trumpeter simply because he liked to blow his own horn and boast about how great he thought he was yes he was a good drummer Andy got a lot of publicity there are a lot of other drummers that didn't get publicity you were not as famous for as rich! Jwm.❤
C'mon proof readers... botched title or not Buddy always kicked a$$!!
Mister Tony Williams Thanks For Replacing Mister Buddy Rich As The All-time Greatest Drummer For All Music Kinds .
What About Doctor Sonny Emory In The Future ? What About Neil Peart ? What About Phil Collins ? What About Ramon Sampson In The Future ? What About The Drummer For The " Who Band " ? Being Fair At All Times Especially With Certain Factors Such As Formal Education And Formal Training .
@JH Buddy Rich Went Pro At 22 . No Degrees In Music For Drums . Limited Formal Training .
Kings May Not Be The Best For Their Instruments . Yet They Must Meet Certain Formal Education Standards And Certain Aging Standards . Tony Williams Is Buddy Rich And Gene Krupa And Sonny Emory And Ringo Starr And Phil Collins .
Personnel listing would be nice!

Check out the ice-cold cymbal choke with stick just after 2:35.
My childhood friend, and first musician I ever played with, Tony Montalbo, is the bassist here. :)
