Thank you! it was alot of work to come up with this design and testing to see if it will work. The first 3 designs didn't work, this is the 4th design and i am happy with the results. I always felt the rc tamiya globeliner was missing this feature, now its available. Thank you for your support and for watching my videos👍

Hi , @oldskoolstudios25 , Thank you, this has taking me a long time, from an idea to making the actual hinges and making the step by step video. It's been more than 7 months ago since i started to come up with the idea of the hinges and let me tell you i have made alot of mistakes along the way, the first prototypes didn't work but, finally one did work and i am happy i didn't give up. I have realice this is a long process and now i am in the production step of making the first 50 pairs of hinges. All of them are handmade, this is why is taking a long time for me to start shipping them out. Be patience, i am trying to figure it out how to ship them to you in the UK and other places and not only the USA. Thank you tony for your comment and for wanting to buy some hinges. At the moment I am in the process of making them. The process is time consuming since I don’t have the proper tools, and machine to produce them faster like I would like to, everything is handmade. I am working on producing the first 50 pairs of hinges for sale. Once I reached this amount I will make a video with all the details on how, were to buy them and the price for 1 pair of hinges including the support rods to keep the cab open and also some hardware like screws. The price I have in mind right now is $79.99 plus $5 for shipping and handling anywhere in the USA. This will include the 2 hinges, 1 locking system to keep the cab close and secure, 2 support rods to keep the cab open and 3 small screws. I am keeping track on who wants to buy them so I will add your name to a list so I can let you know when they are available. Thank you again for your comment and for watching my videos 👍

If I may say. I would try a small dab of clear shoe goo at half way dry. Won't go threw , hardens well enough.
