I can't help but remember when you were nervous to drive by yourself to an airport (on the highway.) Now, you're encouraging viewers to get out & do things by themselves. And, I recall how down you were during your furlough when you we not able to fly. Lots & lots to be thankful for.
I went to Disneyland in CA for the first time, by myself, on one of my LAX layovers. This job of ours broke me out of my shell and got me out of my comfort zone, and now I LOVE doing my own thing on layovers. I call it “taking myself on a date.” Also, I was getting genuinely anxious you weren’t going to ride Hagrid’s and I’m SO GLAD you did. I live in Orlando, have an annual pass to Disney and Universal, and can say without a shadow of a doubt that Hagrid’s is the best ride we have at any park down here. The track drop is the coolest thing. So glad you got to experience it!

As a Universal Orlando annual pass holder, going to the parks by yourself is the BEST! I remember the first time I did it, it felt odd but now I prefer it :) Also, HHN is a must! Respect. My house based on personality is Slytherin. Although, I do have a few traits of Gryffindor in me. But dominantly Slytherin. Oh. Here's a tip Julia for photos. Always bring 2 cameras if you can. 1 DSLR of course. But also have a small spare point and shoot camera that you can easily fit in your purse. In case you can't bring the the DSLR, you have a backup in your purse that can do just about the same.

Hi Julia. No need to worry about losing your phone. I also had the same problem ,so got on Amazon and looked up phone Lanyards.. I now have a couple of good ones. Just hang the phone around my neck and it’s long enough to put my phone in my jeans pocket when I’m not making calls.Lanyards are in various lengths so prob just measure from your neck down to your pocket if you need a long one. The sites usually have the length notes as well.The fabric attachment to the lanyard fits inside the phone case just at the bottom 0f the case. You’ll never drop your phone again.❤️

When it comes to vlogging with your phone, don’t be paranoid about the quality of the footage - Apple wants you to not have to use a $200+ camera to take pics or videos which is the main reason why smartphone cameras are so good. One thing to note about vlogging with your phone is that the position of the rear camera does matter - make sure that the notch on your phone (aka the Dynamic Island) is on the left side of the screen. Doing so will basically put the camera higher up so that it’s more at eye level. I would imagine you know that but wanted to mention it to you in case you don’t 😊

Great Vlog! Orlando is my second home. You went on my favorite two rides (Gringotts and Hagrid). Too bad you didn’t see dragon at night, feels different. In regard to Horror Nights, (usually go on my Birthday) pay for fast pass, the lines are ridiculous for 5 minutes in a Horror House. It’s expensive, but worth it for your peace of mind. Too bad Ale is not there anymore, you guys could have hung out. Side Note, Funny seeing you in that T-Shirt ( I know you wore it for book- I have read it soon myself) . Always considered you a Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. 😉 oh one more thing, before you guys leave PA. Hopefully you and Eric ( if he’s up for it) can see Harry Potter on Broadway 🎭 . For me the story is Ok, but the experience is fantastic.

Never be worried about going places alone, no one ever actually judges you! I've been to Florida twice by myself, done roadtrips to Savannah and Charleston, been to Nashville, people were also so curious and fascinated I was doing it all alone!

Obviously others have already pointed out the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning. A carbon monoxide detector is a great investment for any garage. Years ago when I was in EMS I can recall one carbon monoxide poisoning rescue call that fortunately turned out ok for the patient. Definitely a very real thing! On a different note, how are you liking the Honda HRV? Our minivan has a lot of miles (almost 300,000 now!) and we’re talking about replacing it. My wife is talking SUV now. Likely a smaller one. I love Universal Studios and all the rides. Transformers, spiderman, minions. Definitely geared more to older kids/teens and adults IMO.
