Matthew Eck i’m a BF player since BF2... i enjoy both 1 and 4 the same... the older ones don’t feel that great after those years. That saying i have fond memories of them. 1 is still a supported game and its overflowing with players. So yes it holds supreme... :)

I know this is a sniping video, but it reminded me how much I loved the pistols in this game. There were so many good options. In BF5 I feel like the Webley is the only viable sidearm.
Same always been a BF fan loved BC2 and BF3 on PS3 over 2000 hours then skipped BF4 coz I didn't have PS4 then when BF1 was in the works I was like I'm going to build a badass PC for it and thats when I learned to play on PC so much fun!
I constantly realise on a day to day basis that BF1 is an absolute classic up there with BF3 and Bad Company 2. The rest are mere imitations. Nice to see you back in the fold showing how great this game still is. Classic Stods. 👍

That’s just the one part that stood out the most for me, but this is an epic gameplay video throughout the entire thing.
Hands down the best ever fps game made. People took this game for granted. This game is 3 plus years old and still looks and plays like its not supposed to be out yet.. I miss the sound of my Martini when she connects on that lovely sweet spot. Sad days

The reason for the change, BF4 or Brokenfield 4 was unfinished when released and wasn't really any good for a whole year until some major fixes made it the game it should have been on release, whereas BF1 was great from day one. BFV is awful, just plain awful and doesn't deserve to be on the same list tbh.

I remember not wanting to snipe on BF1 until I got a cool ass camo with was black and gold (I forgot which sniper it was) but then I got into sniping and I enjoyed every bit of it just the sounds of the sniper was amazing and the headshot sound was so good that’s when I knew sniping in this game was fun
Man i love BF1! I played BFV for two months and then went back to this, so enjoyable in comparison. Only thing i dont like is the suppression and random bullet deviation.
My actual favorite out of all the BF titles was Battlefield 1. They got it just right with that one. Battlefield 3 was fun but outdated by the time I started to play it. Battlefield 4 was just too dark for me but still had a lot of content. Battlefield 1 was right perfect with just about everything except DLC weapons and crate boxes and puzzles. But it had that right amount of grit hardcore feeling to it, and the kill jingle sounded like soft, sweet, music. Battlefield 5 looks like candyland funfest.

In the BF1 days so many people and also a lot of BF youtubers complained about stuff like skill ceilings, suppression or TTK in BF1 and I never really got it. I don't see the point either now. High skill players like Stodeh have the same KD in BF1 and BFV. There is simply no difference. Now that BFV is out and supposedly fixed all this stuff the game has no life. I just don't enjoy BFV as much as BF1. I hope DICE brings back some great gameplay. They have shown that they can do it previously without much outside influence. I think we should leave development to the devs. It's their job after all and why would we know better how to design a large scale first person shooter. And please post more BF1 content. It's just more satisfying to watch!

Sweet spot was a great mechanic (IMO) it's the only way you can make that many sniper rifles work.
