The biggest mistake by top picking teams is to get a good fit rather than getting the best player available. A recent example would be James WIseman for the warriors. They had Lamelo Ball on the board but he didn't "fit" with Klay and Steph. Now Wiseman isn't on the team and was let go for basically nothing. Scoot Henderson is the best player at #2. They should pick him and worry about fit later.
