This story is horrific, how many children were traumatized for life! Now it's a series?! That alone is beyond belief. My prayers are for the children who suffer from people acting out their fantasies on them.

I feel like this is something people tell themselves because they are too scared to acknowledge how devastating it would be. The women in this show appear to have put their lives under excruciating microscopes for the sole purpose of saving other kids, if they hadn’t done so, wouldn’t it still be happening?

That mother! Oh boy. She is no victim, she was willfully blind. Homeboy was in the room for two years. What did she REALLY think he was doing?! Or did she just convince herself (like she did when he was out on bail) that he was reflecting on his place in life?! She sacrificed her kids for herself. My grandmother did that to my mom, except my mom was actually molested. My grandmother put him out but bought him right back in after 6 months. My mom is a wicked demon to this day because of that.
And she’s talking that nonsense about “our” daughter. That’s not “our” daughter, that’s YOUR daughter. Jason had a FULL understanding of that fact.
I’m of the belief, you die FOR your kids. Period. And any other innocent child NOT your kid. I would have done doughnuts on Jason after he pulled into the Walmart parking lot. He would have been part of the pavement by the time to police arrived. Documentary done.

The mother infuriated me too!!! Catering to the sick predator while he was in prison and after he was released before trial instead of making her kids the #1 priority and being a mother instead of trying to still be his wife. Sickening! If I was her oldest daughter, I would never forgive her.

I watched this and one of the things that made my head spin was the wife sharing the photos with her family for verification. I kept screaming NOOOOOOO, do not share them even if just to verify. It was also the not going straight to the police not passing go, not collecting $200 and calling an agency she knew her BIL worked at.
She’s got some complicity. Just like season 1.

The mother is solely at fault. She had evidence and proof of him trying to meet up with a minor while she was still pregnant with their child and she still decided to stay. What pissed me off the most is when she keeps saying “our daughter,” like no, Avaya is NOT his daughter, she’s your daughter. There were definitely several things she could have done to prevent her daughter from being a victim but she didn’t. She endangered her own child. It is HER fault. 🤦🏻‍♀️ this whole case pisses me off so much.

This was a horrific case. I’ll NEVER victim blame and I’m not doing so in this case. With that being said, I felt uneasy during the first episode BEFORE I even knew what the crime was, when I saw her 4-5 year old daughter in the pool with a tiny black triangle bikini top on. I paused it and asked my family if that looked weird or was it just me. They all agreed it was crazy inappropriate for a little kid to be wearing. Fast forward to her oldest daughter being an underage teen in tiny shorts, huge fake eyelashes and makeup. Again, this isn’t blaming the victims as I feel so sad and sick for that poor girl. I’m just p1ssed off that the mom who already divorced one loser decided to not keep her daughters’ innocence. I would have been laughed at if I asked for giant fake lashes at 13-14 years old. Knowing what we know about the case, it disgusts me that even her 8 year old had makeup and lashes on for what looked like dance competitions. Her oldest daughter is so beautiful and so sweet. She seems like she has a long road to recovery from this. Once the little one finds out her life will be changed as well. I want to cry thinking of these poor girls and their mom who went to VISIT this man AFTER he was arrested and before his conviction. The level of betrayal is something I could never forgive or forget.
I know it’s the criminals fault. I know that. But we as parents have ONE job, and it’s to keep our babies innocence and not allow them to be sexualized in any way when they’re young. They don’t have a choice about who mommy brings home or what sicko is looking at them. Protect your babies!

This story upset me in a way that was so profound I didn't believe I would be affected that way.
Jason Lyttons sentence is outright unconstitutional. I will never understand how such a serious offense, one that changes countless lives, one that takes every bit of credibility from someone and one that most people consider especially heinous only yields a 10 month lock up.
Lastly I have to say, I genuinely cannot stand people who claim to have "changed" after short periods of abstinence and church. It takes years to be able to really look inside yourself and admit your crap tendencies and be ready to work towards eradicating those behaviors. It is incredibly lame to say " I found God and he's chosen to forgive me".

Did he ever physically offend? Was it girls and boys?….did he offend any of the children while he was coaching? …….on and on drama re the daughters, add nauseam, yet fortunately he didn’t physically violate!

Just as anyone who makes mistakes in life goes down a path that is not ideal most of the time they deserve a second chance, even murderers get second chances and this is far from murder. It’s not me but I have the maturity and humanity to put myself in other people’s shoes to try and gain perspective on why or how they could be driven to behave in ways that are harmful to others. Maybe the absence of this is why we have so much corruption, false imprisonment and contempt for each other instead of acceptance and understanding.

@@leekeishakeishaleesmith3801 yeah, serious, why do you believe in locking up everyone when they make mistakes? Explain to me why this guy doesn’t deserve a second chance? Obviously the courts agree based on his punishments. I am talking about this man not all people who do this just this guy and his background, he has been a good citizen before he committed this crime. So why does he deserve whatever punishment you guys think he deserves and not a second chance? This is why jury’s get so many cases wrong nowadays and why the country is so divided, no compassion or perspective.
