This is the best Australian version of the 12 Days of Christmas I have heard. Love it. Thank you for uploading this. It’s brilliant. I see it was uploaded 9 years ago, a mate up north uploaded this on a forum which is how I learned of it.
I remember two versions with sharks.(One was six sharks are surfing which was the one that started with Kookaburra in a gum tree. The other was seven sharks are swiming which was the one which started with cocky(cockatoo) in a coolibah tree.)But apart from this one I don't remember any others with koalas. And there are none with Tasmania devils or magpies as far as I know. But they might be good for a certain version.
gerry wilson love this version and i should haveknow you folks would have some carols of your own have a blessed easter glad i chose christmas songs as a research project
White... snowflakes... fireplace... All Christmas song doesn’t work for Australia. This is the one finally I found!such a stupidly cute Australian Christmas song😁
Every year the yr 7 8 and 9 sing this song like yell it, scream. The year sevens start of, then yr 8 and yr 9. After yr 9 go year sevens do the fourth one and it continues
Pokemon version On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me A pikachu up a gumtree On the second day of Christmas my true love sent to me 2 charmenders
There is no universally agreed upon plural for platypus - platypuses, platypi and platypodes are all used (although the latter two are only colloquial)
On the first day of christmas my true love gave to me an Emu up a gum tree. On the second day of christmas my true love gave to me two pink Galas and an Emu up a gum tree. On the third day of christmas my true love gave to me three Jabirus two pink Galas and an Emu up a gum tree.
On the fourth day of christmas my true love gave to me four kookaburras three Jabirus two pink Galas and an Emu up a gum tree. On the fifth day of christmas my true love gave to me five kangaroos four kookaburras three Jabirus two pink Galas and an Emu up a gum tree. On the sixth day of christmas my true love gave to me six platypuses five kangaroos four kookaburras three Jabirus two pink Galas and an Emu up a gum tree.
I like the original version better. Even though I’m Australian, I never prefer the Australian version of any Christmas song. I especially hate the Australian version of Jingle Bells where they say Rusty Holden Ute instead of One Horse Open Sleigh.
It's this shapeshifting creature but the bird for is its resting form (imagine like a big chameleon). The are one of the most dangerous Australian animals, even worse than drop bears
@@pijnto, I'm Australian, there are lots of Australians that sound like this. There are many varied accents can be heard around the country, within the one area people from different socio-economic backgrounds will have different accents.
On the seventh day of christmas my true love gave to me seven koalas climbing six platypuses five kangaroos four kookaburras three Jabirus two pink Galas and an Emu up a gum tree. On the eighth day of christmas my true love gave to me eight possums playing seven koalas climbing six platypuses five kangaroos four kookaburras three Jabirus two pink Galas and an Emu up a gum tree. On the ninth day of christmas my true love gave to me nine wombats working eight possums playing seven koalas climbing six platypuses five kangaroos four kookaburras three Jabirus two pink Galas and an Emu up a gum tree.
On the tenth day of christmas my true love gave to me ten lizards leaping nine wombats working eight possums playing seven koalas climbing six platypuses five kangaroos four kookaburras three Jabirus two pink Galas and an Emu up a gum tree. On the eleventh day of christmas my true love gave to me eleven numbats nagging ten lizards leaping nine wombats working eight possums playing seven koalas climbing six platypuses five kangaroos four kookaburras three Jabirus two pink Galas and an Emu up a gum tree. Love it, it's great! But I think it would have been better to use the plural of platypus - platypi - rather than platypuses. It would have fitted the music better, too! :)
What a thoughtful True (Blue) Love.🥰🎄

Franz K I’ve never seen snow, Australia is boring XD
Who made this song
@@lvcissa Just to play in, and certainly not to have to live with. It's also so expensive to stay and play at the ski resorts!

Sorry, the name stems from the Greek word platypodes and being Greek you don't use a latin pluralisation. Platypuses is what they are.
