Nobody's beating these guys in a knife fight, that's for sure. You just can't beat a lifetime dedication to combat excellence, and the world's most perfect knife.
Amazing history. I didn’t know about the Gurkhas proud history. I just bought the power hammer from KHHI Nepal. And it is amazing. I will be buying a traditional Khukuri next. And more after that. The quality is superb.
The Ghorka soldiers are very tough.💪🏼 I’ve been practicing swinging my Kukri around, it’s not easy & takes getting used to. I currently have an American made Kukri by Condor. It’s great but I’m very excited to receive my real Khukuri from KHHI. 😊🙏🏼
Mine hasn’t even arrived yet and I’m already looking at different ones to buy, I love the horn handle. The one I bought has a Rosewood handle. Lots of different sizes to chose from too. I can see myself spending a lot of money at KHHI.😊
@@amritupadhyay2122they serve but they aren't Indian. They are Nepalese so stop saying they are Indian when they only do your dirty work. They also serve Britian, does that mean they are English no . They are brave, strong, nepali men who aren't Indian that serve for other countries.
the UK would never have been able to win WWII without the help of commonwealth, colonial and mercenary troops (who gave the needed strength to survive until the american resources arrived)! And I think not enough has been said to underline this fact. Especially the west and eastafrican colonials (Burma, Libya, Italy, etc) are seldom mentioned. What would have been of Britain without the 4 million indian troops? what would have happened if the Anzac's did not show up? etc, etc. The example of the Gurkhas underlines once more, and very graphically, how loyal and efficient these troops were (are)...!!!!
And the sad thing is, the Gurkha's were just given British citizenship now after all the blood they shed. In the French Foreign Legion you become automatically a citizen after a certain number of years. It took a long time before the British to realize it.
With all due respect to the past and all. But they go by Gurkhas not Ghorkas. They refer to themselves as Gurkhas and members of past Gurkha Units in the wars. I've never once heard *any of them* refer to themselves as Ghorkas. Not once. Not ever. They know where they came from and for whom they fight.
I actually don't know the meaning of Gurkhas? stop using such incorrect name made English for Gorkhalis. Being a media from Nepal still making the title Gurkhas? The British should be taught proper Nepali word Gorkhali but instead we nepali are following there incorrect word Gurkhas.

Some of them want to use you & some want to make use of. At the end of the day these Gurkhas are simply brave and respected warriors.
I worked with the Gurkhas and I can’t speak highly enough of them.
