- You may believe it or not, but I actually do have a head :)
Alright, back with Wasurete Yaranai, this time in full 184BPM :D These 2 weeks I've focused on remaining relaxed, not just in the picking/fretting hand but just the whole body in general as well as some better posture. Since I didn't show me cranium in the previous episodes it wasn't visible, but I actually leaned over quite a heck of a lot previously. It's better now in my opinion, but I'll be continuing to keep an eye out for it.
This trick of relaxing the fretting and picking hand is so, so, so crucial. I feel like I've gotten a lot more consistent in just a matter of days. I know that you've probably heard it a billion times in every tip video for guitar ever, but if you've still not looked at this problem I highly recommend you to do so, it's hella effective!
Lastly the song itself, I've been mainly looked a tiny bit at the solo, playing it really slow. I'm aware that I currently do not have the skills available to play it well at full speed, so I've been trying to identify where exactly the problem lain. I think my fretting hand speed is not enough to keep up with the picking/sweeping motion, so I'll try to work a bit on that.
Also those string bends in the chorus, I just can't get all four of them to be correct. It's quite difficult to switch position and bend them upwards AND make sure the string under the bend isn't deafened at these speeds. So that's a point to work on.
Anyways, lot's of things learned these two weeks, but if you have any more feel free to leave them down in the comments down below!

What’s your guitar routine
@@INZOMBIAX Most of my guitar journey I didn't have a routine, just playing the BTR song and honestly noodling around a lot, but recently I've been doing a little bit more focused learning of these songs using the metronome and also some fretting hand exercises.
bro is crazy at the guitar

Hello bro. You are really good at playing the guitar. What is the name of your guitar?
Thanks a lot! I use a Tokai Love Rock model but I honestly don't know the exact model name 😅
Where does this play in bocchi? Its on the tip of my tongue, and great playing!!
Thanks! I believe this song comes in EP 12 at the school concert
@@scrambled3217 thanks! and new subscriber
@@TheSkyOwl Thank you very much!!
This randomly popped into my feed tonight, great work!
Do you have a teacher? If not, what did you settle on to learn after some basic chords and scales?
I tried to learn in my teens but due to health and bad motivation I didn't get very far, and started again last October after a 10 year break. So trying to find inspiration anywhere I can!
Thank you very much!
I don't have a teacher and am self taught. Honestly after you've done basic chords and scales it depends quite a lot on your personal goals what you're gonna work on next. I picked a little bit of interest on writing my own songs/arrangements, so for that I dug a bit deeper into barre chords/caged system and the pentatonic scales.
As for general guitar technique I'd say just play songs you love and work on the things you feel like there is room for improvement. Anything from finger independency exercises, changing chords, alternate picking exercises or even some completely new techniques if they appear in those songs you want to play like sweep picking or pinch harmonics (those are pretty advanced tho, can't do it either by a long stretch xd)
Cool to hear you've picked up on it again! Learning guitar will take time, so make sure you enjoy the ride and play along with whatever songs you love the most! Keep on going!
Yo
Good work mate
Keep it up! How did you get your tone?
Thank you! I use Amplitube 5 and with the Brit 9000 model (JCM 900) and turn the bass to around 12-13 o'clock, mid to 14 o'clock, and treble down to around 10-11 o'clock. For this video I also used the OCD overdrive, but I've found that the Boss-OD works a bit better for me. Hope you find this useful!
i find the solo part extremely hard to do (including seishun complex's solo) especially the part where u need to sweep pick, any tips on how to improve in that area ? i can play most of the song but just struggling at the solo part :_;
Honestly I'm in the same position xD Both this solo's sweep and in the Seishun solo are parts where you gotta have really fast fingers with hammer-ons and pull offs, so I guess working on those would help quite a lot. Also in general playing the parts really, really slow works most of the time too to learn the parts. I honestly just kinda gave up working on the solo now for a while cuz it's so damn difficult. but i think these things would definitely help!
got it, thanks dude
