A world of color, from vibrant reds and yellows to rich browns and blacks and whites, represents the beauty of diversity and the strength of unity. Let us strive for a future where understanding and cooperation pave the way for peace and progress. Together, we can build a brighter tomorrow for our children.

Nah I'm good.
Ok?😅
As a black woman reading this I thank you.. Having allies is very important.. There is nothing wrong with seeing colors, it only becomes bad when it's made an issue.. The media does this, A LOT...
This movie is nonsensical, the black guys were underpaid this is still a form of mistreatment, then they get sent back in time to be reminded of "how grateful they should be", they were still maltreated in the past, two wrongs doesn't make a right. This doesn't change the fact that some black people live with challenges and difficulties of their own through neo Slavey everyone does.
The irony is original paperwork from a freed slave from the 1700's would be worth millions now.
Hahahaha, nope, hundreds at best.
Don't you watch any of those porn broker shows or antiques roadshow? All of these wonderful artifacts and memorabilia are usually horrendously undervalued... it is honestly a sad state of affairs if you ask me, seeing all these amazing things and then hearing the measly values and people have to smile about it, OMG, how sad, but that is how it is.... unless you got Beatles, Titanic, big big name stuff like that, then you can start talking about millions, you can even do a Tom Cruise impersonation "show me the money" .... but the guy with the original slave paperwork from 1700's, he can do an Oliver Twist impersonation "please sir, can i have some more?" Because no one cares about amazing antiques and memorabilia, this is what i learn from watching Antiques Roadshow.
Great recap as always❤

I remember this movie just because of how dumb this part was 🤣
What a beautiful story! While I wouldn't want to send the black and white racist people back to the time where the two work together to change the laws of slavery and education being a human right for everyone just to teach them the value of what we accomplish when we work together - wow what a better future our Children would have if they could just understand that concept. All gave some, some gave all - like Martin and Abraham. May we all work together for peace amongst our people, we have big issues to deal with and it will take everyone's effort to achieve a better tomorrow, our Children deserve this effort and they are more than worth it. I will include all 5 colors God made, red, yellow, brown, black, and white- plus the millions of beautiful Colors of precious Kids we have made in our world, our home- this Earth that needs our love and attention too. In Christs name I Pray for this for all of us, because i may be old and broken but as i still see it since the 60's as a Child myself, C- Colors H- Have R- Relative I - Interest S- Supporting T- Teamwork ❤ much love and best wishes to all this fine Holiday Season, and a better New Year for everyone. Amen
Oh now this is unique 😂

Can anyone disclose the name of the movie please
It's in the first frame... It's called Case Départ
This movie recap video brilliantly captures the essence of the film in a concise and engaging way. It's like a cinematic journey in just a few minutes, leaving me both nostalgic and excited to relive the movie's magic.
I couldn't agree more. I've been watching recaps for a couple years now but it's always this channel who manages to capture the main idea of the story & the important bits pertaining to. It's amazing how much of my attention span it takes to the point I don't even realize its been 10-12 minutes.

I love it when spoiled and or disrespectful people get their comeuppance.
Always those kinds 🦝
I'll pass on this one.
Bad idea , this movie is really fun
so the Aunt can travel to the pass and doesnt change it?
I'm guessing Joel and Regis had to go back because they were disrespectful by ripping that paper. Had to teach them a "lesson" about respect. 🤷♀️
The aunt has powers to travel to the past but she can't change the past because that's not what the powers are meant to do they are for showing the present generation what the past generation went through in order for them to live freely by not accepting & respecting the past they are meant to live in it so they could see for themselves what it was like even if the aunt had the power to change things 1 person alone cannot change a history such as slavery
@@kunfussed213 You appear to have TOTALLY missed the point that was being made.
You cant change the past dufus
@@ArmonMitchell But that's EXACTLY what they did in the movie, dufus.
A cartoon but with live people
The maroons are my ancestors therefore I am also a maroon but they do not call us that anymore in my language they call it marron or wegeronnen slacken because they ran away they where tired of all the slaughter and tourture there is also a day mad for that the 25th of November or ( keti koti ) there was also a movie made of how we where treated they also teach us that in school it's called history for a reason so if any middle aged kid sees this or if the are only taught about slavery in history class do not take it as a bad thing you can
Learn a lot in there
Its a nice movie.

In the US to be black is a strength in France it’s a different story…your background is not always welcome… to assume your origin it’s sometimes taboo..
Very nice and funny movie..

1st like
So, this is a Woke, left-wing, _badly done_ propaganda film that hits the audience over the head with its message of holding onto the very distant past. One is very successful, the other half-brother has the potential to become a success. But sure, let's toss them into the far distant past so they knew what slavery is like, first-hand. What trash!
The film should have focused on the new relationship between the successful brother, and the one recently released from prison. Along with their family members that they have to deal with. THAT should have been the film. Would have made for a thought-provoking drama of what it's like to be a Black man in modern times. Instead we got this vomit-inducing propaganda piece that comes on far too strong.
If the movie had been about white guys destroying their grandfather's war medal and being sent back to WWII, would you have reacted the same? I bet not. The movie is dumb as fuck, don't take me wrong, but calling "please respect family heirlooms" propaganda proves that the word "woke" has just become a synonym for "things I don't like".
Euhm its a french comedy bro why so serious
Well, that certainly says something about you if your definition of a "woke, Leftist" movie is one where the lesson that Joel learns is to be content with getting paid unfairly. That sounds pretty right-wing, "keep the underlings in their place" to me. Leftists don't want to learn about history just for no reason, we want to learn about it in order to honor it by not repeating past mistakes and continually improving the present. No, there's nothing wrong with a black person feeling grateful that they weren't born in a time when slavery was legal, but if this is touted as reason for accepting anything less than true justice simply because you have it better than the slaves did, than that doesn't change a thing about the present. Both brothers should have learned to challenge injustice, not just Regis.
Yeah, the woke concepts of submitting to your boss and being completely fine with being paid an unfair wage

The children of the irish weren't automatically made into slaves on birth. The first slaves after the "discovery" were actually native Americans. Do you know what Christopher Columbus did?
Who are “these people” you speak of??
