As an EA developer we spend many hours, weeks, or months testing and debugging, once I see those results from an EA I know that it is a scam, I didn't realize until I see this great video, I learn every day from developing ideas, and to be a successful trader and developer takes time and effort and if I want to sell my future bots, I have to make sure that people who wanted to buy my EA''s the product have to be an excellent product at least 70% to 90% at least perfect, so in that way can have nice reviews, for me better to have 10 or 100 customers, friends happy auto trading than scamming people.

Haha, yes obviously but there is very little content out there from hich you can actually learn or that shows best practice. Are you able to package python code into an mt5 EA that you can sell in the marketplace and especially use in the MT5 backtester?

Hello René, your work is great, but I will tell you in mt5 if you can obtain the data history of said route, view -> symbols -> Forex -> majors -> EURUSD -> (TABS) -> BARS (CHOOSE TEMPORALITY, DATES, ETC) -> REQUEST (ONCE HISTORICS OBTAINED), -> EXPORT BARS.

If mlq5 wiling to be respected as a legit place to software rental/purchase they shuld truck investigate and ban vendors who do this. Couse what you show Rene is just an example of a scam. Mlq5 shuld also allow to do demo forward test as just what you show backtest results to evaluate purchase decision is not enough anymore. Great work . Thank you

You will learn all the tools that you need for mql5 programming. When you understood the basics you will be able to write whatever you want ;) it takes some practice but it is worth it!
Couldn't we investigate using this idea to trade based on the previous candle(s) OHLC data like pivot points and Fibonacci? Perhaps incorporate the machine learning code that uses previous OHLC and the "scraped" sentiment of the market (with social media) as inputs to the Expert Advisor.

Thats why when you buy a EA you need to look if the person has a real signal and other people have been using it .

I don't know. I cannot see the future. In the past it has been the range breakout (for me in my live account). But I did not test every EA in a live account so I cannot really answer this question.

A guy who created it is genius. Upload some risky martingale EA, call it something like AI, GPT... Show complex formulas in the description which don't make any sense and voilà. Hundreds of apes willing to pay thousand of dollars for it. This AI mania is unbelievable.

I checked codes many times, exactly the same , but strategy gives losses only, every candle it buys and every candle sells, so in down trend it gives big losses..... can anyone help ?
Got the Mistake and resolved... It BUYs 1st then Sell, in Down Trend it give hugh losses with Big Candle....

So all these bots end up being scams at the end , makes me think if it is even possible to create a trading bot that can generate descent returns on a consistent basis, otherwise somebody would've come up with it by now !

I saw the whole video lol i was just curious to know. However i have a question non related to this video, when i backtest an EA using the "every tick" model and it shows a losing equity curve, but when i backtest it using the "every tick based on real tick" model and it shows profitability, does the EA have to have a positive equity curve on both every tick and real tick model or only the real tick model is what matters? Since every tick model is not real ticks and is simulated...
@@addICTed_to_USD Oh okay. It just won't trade in a live account because it does not have an actual trading logic if the candle data is not available.
@@addICTed_to_USD good question. Usually it is the other way round and the test is worse when you test 'based on real ticks'. You could run it in a demo account for a while to check it the results from the tester can be replicated.
@ yes the test was almost always worst when using real ticks model and attractive looking when using 'every tick' model, but recently i've found profitable equity curve using the real ticks model. I'll take your advice on that and test it on a demo account. Thanks Rene! 😁👍🏼
