Ever since I started developing my own EAs, I never have an interest to buy something on the market, especially when they seem fishy. I would only buy something really interesting. It's sad that people have no conscience about uploading chimeras to the marketplace...I coded a profitable EA which uses a custom indicator and trades breakouts on the smaller timeframes, all thanks to your educational videos!

I spent years learning programming and I can't just give it all away. Especially when it needs thorough live testing. You have to put in the work yourself. my EA trades on the Donchian bands at the LL and HH price zones, there are a lot of risk management features including a kill switch. I use 2 bars of confirmation which means it doesn't trade on a sudden signal but checks if the signal persists after 2 bars pass on 30 minute timeframe..and this eliminates false signals

@@VahidBehravanVahid-Behravan well first off you can find articles on MQL5 for this. Avoid articles on the "EA Wizard" as you don't need to use these cExpert classes (I think they limit creativity). Your other option is to watch more of this guys tutorials as he will guide you on how to get something working. You want to start by making something which executes a trade with a TP and SL using the Trade.mqh library like in Renés tutorials. Then you can add your own creativity from there, think about the strategy you want to code and then code it.
Now, you are somebody like Iman, but on a different level. Great video!

Hi Rene, hope you’re well and happy in your new location! At 13:39 into the video you mention that it’s not easy to program these areas as the program has to identify these areas! Would you consider building such an identifier in one of your tutorials, because I guess your large group of followers would love to see this work and use such an identifier in any EA using the #include mechanism

so funny...i actually backtested this last week!... skeptical to say the least...i studied biostatistics (biostatistical analysis by Zar) in my 2nd and 3rd years....taught me a lot....first rule : check sample size....second rule: it's probably skewed data

A great way to know if the strategy is using some sort of martingle or grid is the crazy low Z-Score but very high in magnitude. This is especially true for single symbol testing because the negative Z-Score indicates how likely the next trade is profitable based on the previous one. Super low Z-Score for single symbol testing is a big red flag for me.
hi, rene, as confirmed by someone who can read ex4 pseudocode, this ea skipped bad date in back testing, even though it can still have loses but you will see the overall rising curve, yep it's too good to be tue.

It's the typical Golden Goose situation, but more money can't hurt right. But in efforts not too get your work copied, I think one would rather sell signals from the EA rather
That is a very good question, but it is like asking the banks why they would sell Investment Products to retail investors when they can keep it to themselves and get all the profits. The answer is simple: no investment is 100% risk-free, and the bank will get risk-free fees from retail investors when they buy their products. If an EA author designed a very good EA, and it worked very well in the past, it doesn't mean it will work very well in the future, so what is the harm of selling it and getting extra income on the side. Also, If you want to live off trading income, you need a very big capital; hence, selling EAs and services will allow the author to build capital.
EAs usually do not create a performance like shown in the video. It always comes at a (huge) risk. And selling EAs is indeed risk free. Also there are a lot of scammers on mql5 (unfortunately) and their EAs cannot keep their promises :/
this developer is a scam, I bought one of these "Bugatti" robots for $699, all the backtests are rigged, once on the real account, 80% of the capital is gone, and obviously when you contact support meta 5 they don't even answer you

I'd class this EA as a Multi-Lot strategy. The logic appears to accumulate lots until positive in profit, or exit in loss when open drawdown exceeds the value of the previous 5 historical trades, based on the equity loss trade. That seems simple and effective logic, however it's very likely the system is curve fitted to the 14 indicators it uses.

Even tho he claims his EA to be only focus on gold you should have test it on an instrument close to it, like US30, NAS100 or an other metals. It would be interesting to see how its behaving ;)

Morning Rene. Great! Video and I also watched your other video on building history from Tick data. Couple of questions related to SSX Titan TT EA. Can we really manipulate history data and provide good results during back testing? If so, why the results of this EA looks bad during the years 2015 & 2014.
Rene I’ve noticed that when there’s are drawing in the code with parameters that are set really far away ago in the chart, the slower the visual tester. When some of my”older” lines gets automatically deleted, the test goes faster immediately.
Too good to be true. It seems to know when to buy/sell and hit profit some days later.

Did you know that the Author deleted all his old failed EAs. It was after all luxury super cars. I think Lambo and stuffs. All gone now.
No did not know this :O But makes sense this is what these sellers usually do when their signals/EAs blow up :/
This strategy works with periods/sessions + supply + demand + Fibo levels.

All those who are skilled in this field said that such a result is completely impossible, only those who expect to get rich overnight are looking for such experts :). "When it seems too good to be true, it probably is"... Just using logic, (and I don't mean to sound negative here) but either: 1. it is in fact a scam, or 2. it is not a scam, and is actually this good. But in that case, as you mentioned in the video, the seller would have no need to sell it, because they have found their own method of printing money.
Still, I am impressed by the marketing of the EA, and I'd love to see the source code just to see how they did it......
Likely they will rotate their signals a few times over the next month or two, and then they will eventually get enough bad reviews that it'll fall in the rankings or they'll take it down. By then they'll have made $300,000, and will already be uploading another scam on a different account. A very profitable business, making money off of those that don't know better...
Yeah same. I am also impressed by the marketing on mql5. But also I do not understand how people can sell like this (IF it is a scam)... Poor world out there :/
and EA that does not have some kind of reversal trade strategy built in is very risky. There are time the price just goes one way and stays there for weeks and months. So you need a strategy where when a certain trade is done and it passes a certain period and stays in negative, it will need to create new trades to recoup the status.
Hey rene, i think you should add some AI and machine learning algorithms to your expert adviser you can optimize money managment trailing and your trading strategy with learning automata and deep reinforcement learning algorithms I'm almost sure they could be pretty effective

You will barely find any martingale system on mql5 with a losing signal. They just replace the losing signals ;)
Suggestion: check if the EA uses any system dlls and if yes which functions.
I think dlls are generelly not allowed for mql5 EAs. Too high risk of actual computer damage.
DLLs are not allowed on MQL5.
Do you have a video explaining the history reading function that can be built into MT4 & MT5 expert advisers? The history reading function can allow the EA to read the history data during backtesting and this greatly (positively) affects the results during backtest but live testing is completely different result-wise. In my opinion allot of the EA's on MQL5 market use the history reading function which ensures positive paper trading results and therefore some sales. These sales are non-refundable so why wouldn't a seller do this?
Why do you want to learn how to manipulate the EA performance? :O I think sellers should not deceive other people because it is just stealing money. Even worse: Other people who trust them might lose all their money trading risky bots...
@ You got me wrong here. I don't want to learn how to manipulate anyone. I just thought with your expert knowledge there might be a way to find out if an EA does use the history reading code so that buyers can avoid buying this type of EA. Also to make the community aware of the issue and then potentially be informed before purchasing and EA that looks too good to be true.

if the balance curve goes straight up, it is fake or martingale. there is also a trick when you optimize on M1 OHLC, the curve is almost perfect. but on tick data it fails.
Yeah most likely. In the video I used the "every tick based on real tick" method but there are still ways to scam on mql5 :(

What if you take a very low winrate ea and just trade against it with bigger lots? Taking 1 step back and 2 steps forward results in going forward
You can try this but usually "turning around" a strategy will not work because of the trading costs.
It doesn't work even that way. We gave tried it. We tried every thing under the sun 🌞🌅. Trust us, there is almost nothing that we haven't tried that is why now we are learning Machine learning for trading. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Looks very impressive. The no of trades is not constant but up to a max value. They all have the same tp/sl for each batch, placed at about the support/resistance levels. The lot size is always maximal allowed by the broker. Crazy results from 100k to 70M for many assets. He said it uses volume as confirmation of the breakout, but the forex market has no centralization. The volume is specific for each broker.

There are some rules and checks but somehow people still manage to cheat or deceive... it is kinda sad. There are some honest sellers, too, of course but it is hard to compete with the marketing/deceiving kind of sellers :/

I think this could be a good and REAL EA if we consider it takes trades in 123 pattern and angle number 3 are in real time resistance in sell pattern and real time support in buy pattern , I think this EA works in this method but with accurate market pressure .
espacially with 1/3 R R between stop and take profits .
this could also be a big scam , many seller uses this method to gain money with short time after that they do not care what ganna happen in future.

@ I made some research, and found out that latest ex5 EAs are super hard to decompile (but possible, not sure if after all source code would worth the effort), because of encryption, it would take ages.

For me all EAs are either scam or they won't work according to expectation of its creator. If these EAs are money creating machine then why any one would sell it?
A lot of the EAs sold in public are indeed scams or created to make money from sales. But EA trading can definitely work. Just not the way people expect them to work. It is nothing that will make you rich quickly over night..
@, I totally agree with you. You shouldnt be greedy and looking for EA which makes you rich over night. In your experience can you pl suggest us a good EA which will yield consistent profit with minimal losses?

Warum verkauft er das an Endverbraucher, wenn das DIng wirklich so gut wäre, dann könnte er es für Millionen an große Hedge-Fond-Companies verkloppen, noch teurer wenn er einen Exklusivvertrag bekäme. Also was soll das überhaupt? Ich habe auch bissi mit Kaskaden und Gridsystemen experimentiert. Das Problem dabei ist vor allem, dass sie so kleine Average Trades verursachen, das man kaum (je nach Instrument) über die Slippage und Gebühren raus kommt. Sie verursachen jedenfalls auch ordentlich Drawdown, den man ja finanzieren muss. Da kann man auch andere Systeme nutzen. Würde mich mal interessieren was dein Martingale System kann. Du bist ja einer der wenigen seriösen Menschen hier.
Ja berechtigte Frage! Ich denke nicht, dass es ein klassisches Grid oder so ist. Vermutlich liest der EA eher die Kursdaten im Voraus oder die Trades sind im Code manipuliert :/
Mein Martingale System "kann" relativ wenig ;) Es ist wirklich sehr einfach aufgebaut und eben ein hoch riskantes System, welches so lange gut geht, bis es hochgeht :D
Kannst du da keinen sinnvollen Stop einbauen? Sowas ähnliches machen die Banken auch mit ihren Scalping Systemen, die die Liquidität in Futures stellen, dh den ganzen DOM voll machen mit Limit Orders. Das sind umgebaute Quote Maschinen. Die arbeiten auch mit Mischkursen, also verbilligen von Kursen wie bei Grids. Zugemacht werden die dann von Betreuern, wenn es brenzlig wird. Will sagen, es geht schon... @
Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten einen Backtest gut aussehen zu lassen, ohne dass es in Live funktioniert. Ich bin da ein Meister drin :) Ich habe schon so viele Systeme gehabt, wo ich dachte, ich hätte das Rad neu erfunden, aber in echt siehts dann ganz anders aus. Sehr kleine Trades in relativ großen Kerzen, zu kleine Stops/Targets, zu wenige Kerzen / Trades im Backtest, zu kleine Averagegewinne und und und mit Range Charts kann man auch grandiose Tests bekommen aber wehen dann später...Im Backtest verdient jeder Geld. :) @
I would not recommend buying any EA from this person I brought a previous EA that did the same thing and in a live account it was terrible. The EA and signals are no longer on the market. The back test in this video appears to do the same thing as his old EA
I'm assuming he has just rebranded it and sold it again, Luckily it didn't cost me this much

Bro I am super honest in the video. I tell multiple times that it is super suspicious (especially in the end after testing the EA). It is hard for me because I want to make a good and fair review of course. And I usually do not have actual proof that something is a scam when I make these videos. So I just try to say what I think. But yeah: Looks really shady and everyone should be careful :)

1) It is a black box setting type EA, which is not transparent. I only trust EAs that are fully customizable and settings are clear. This is why I built my own EA.
2) The win rates and profit factors are not realistic at all
3) If I developed an EA/system that turns 100k to 180 million, I would never sell it. I will turn 1k to 1.8 million and am set for life :).
4) I have seen all these kinds of EAs before throughout my 5 years of trading experience with EAs, and this is too good to be true.

No I never recommend specific EAs. Instead I recommend to learn how to code.
The problem with all backtesting are the hidden losses that unfolding will be there in the Real time testing, because in the back we test each completed candle, but in the real each candle is in motion, so there is where potential unseen losses hide themselves.So the Best way for me, is a Real Time audited track record before buying or renting an EA or an AI.
Actually you can also test on "real tick data" in MT5. It is not perfect but actually it is not that bad either ;)
