Hello Brian! I have been watching your videos quite a bit recently and removing limiting beliefs and steadily increasing my positive emotion output. One thing I’d like to know, is how the 80-90 percent emotion is calculated. Let’s say the day is 24 hrs long, i see it as I need to be positive for 22hr daily. Another thing I’d like to ask, is how to remain positive around a specific type of person. Let’s say that I sometimes stay at a relative’s place and they can’t help but be very very nosey as to how I’m doing and how my life is going. This in turn leads to mild complaining and gossiping on my part, which I know lowers my vibration. This person has also subconsciously made me upset in the past quite a lot by judging me and being too nosey with my personal life, so I have developed some sort of defensive response to shut them down fast, but that is no longer positive enough so I’d like another way of dealing with such people.
Thanks for you question and comment. Your scenario is one many have so I will address that but first, when it comes to faulty / limiting beliefs it may be helpful to think about the displacement of them, this could make it feel easier because as you are more and more choosing positive feeling thoughts to replace the negative feeling ones you are literally 'pushing' out those old beliefs, and so it's like a 2 for 1 deal. You get your present moment conscious mind in alignment while actively displacing those faulty beliefs, again making the whole thing feel easier. In terms of knowing your % positive emotion day by day and if you are progressing, the daily emotion tracker is an excellent tool. Just 2 columns 1) what you are thinking / doing and 2) how you are feeling about it. Stop maybe every 1 to 2 hours through the day and make short notes, enough to track and trend yourself. Yes it's a bit of work but the rewards are beyond anything else a person could do to help themselves increase their vibration to live more of the life we want. Our physical life is always the manifestation of our energy and so it makes a lot of sense to spend time to get our energy back into it's natural high vibration. If you exclude sleep you got about 16 to 18 hours of waking time you want to know about your emotional output. In terms of staying positive around different people . . . first and foremost always remember that person is a reflection of you, the way you feel about yourself, in fact your whole life is that. This is very helpful to know because it gets you leaning towards being thankful for them making you aware of what you got going on so you can change rather than irritation and that is an instant shift in vibration to the higher side. The second thing is to realize that if you have an attitude about someone or define them in your mind as being a certain way, they will live up to it, again it's all vibrational. And so you want to find a perspective on that person that is feel good and you know that they too are a pure positive energy being here the same as you to live joyous expansion, but unlike you who is now aware of how life works, many around you are not and so they are doing the best they can with their faulty beliefs. This will help you with compassion and compassion is high vibration. If you will hold them in your mind in a loving way seeing beyond words and behaviors you can connect with them in a new more positive place as the law of attraction will only put you with them when they are there. Lastly, when they say or behave in ways you start to feel annoyed about, just use these words. "Thank you". These are 2 very powerful words that say so much. What they mean from a vibrational sense is that you are thanking the person for the awareness and therefore seeing them more as a vibration dance partner. This realization you can have in your own mind, but outwardly you could say things like thank you for sharing your point of view, remaining detached from how they are behaving. You can also say thanks for asking about me, I am enjoy life etc. then quickly shift the conversation by asking them a question about something they like to get them engaged in a different conversation with a different focus or you could even ask them what they are looking forward to etc. Lots of ways to shift the conversation. If you find you are sliding, then just calmly excuse your self and go get your alignment back. Be very intentional to know the areas you connect with them in a good feeling way and stay there, dodging the other parts as I have mentioned.
