I'm currently an intern for a few funeral homes. Last week, we picked up a body, who wasn't dead after all. The funeral director (I'll call her T) who was on call picked her up shortly before 8:00 AM (when our office opens). She took the woman into the embalming room, where our embalmer (K) and a student (P) were preparing to move the woman from the cot on to a table. I had stepped into the room right when K and P were preparing to unzip the body bag. We heard what we thought was a death rattle, but nope. K unzipped the bag, and lo and behold, the woman's chest was rising and falling. We were all caught offguard, to say the least. Poor T was in tears, not sure what to do. We moved the woman into the chapel, while T called our manager, who told her to call the medical examiner, nursing home where she picked up the lady, hospice agency, and 911. When the first responders arrived, a firefighter/EMT took the lady's vitals. Her blood pressure was really low, which is why we weren't able to detect a pulse at first, and her pulse rate was 108. She didn't wake up between the time we discovered she wasn't dead yet after all and when they loaded her up into the ambulance. The woman was returned to that same nursing home, and K demanded that at least 2 people from the hospice agency be with her at all times this time, which was agreed to. She died for real a couple days later.

There is more to the story about the worker that beheaded the coworker. Read the article, the guy that killed his coworker wanted to die. It could be a case of oppression/ possession. The article says he was mentally ill, as do alot of the cases where people do these types of things. Just putting that out there. Love the channel, keep up the great work.

I forget the reason why, but they do that here by the bay in coastal California, usually in the middle of the night and the smell can last until morning (coincidentally when the storyteller was driving to work). The "creepy dude" was just a dude who had the sulphuric smell clinging to his clothes as he walked into Starbucks. Kind of like how a wet fart clings to your clothes.

I was a deputy and worked night shift in the jail. I was on my way to relive the Officer in FSP for his break and I ran into one of the night nurses. An older hispanic lady, she smiled and waved hello to me. That morning after work, I learned that same nurse died a couple days ago.

Yeah, the beheading of that manager really happened, it was on the news and people continued to talk about it for a long time, they still talk about it. I worked there, when it changed over to a dip and salad place and I really have to say that the manager could have used some classes about etiquette and manners. I had to walk off that job one day, because it got pretty bad.

3 months ago I was fast asleep with my girl. We were alone in our house its 3 floors we are the only occupants. We have cctv, ring doorbell etc. Someone in daylight 7 in the morning knocked on my bedroom door like they were going to break the door even though my door was not locked shut. Me and my girl both jumped up wake from sleep. She terrified. In literally 3 seconds I had grabbed my gun and opened the door. No one was there. No sound of anyone rundown steps. Our bedroom on the 3rd floor. Since then she has seen a shadow in our room walking side ways while Im asleep. And always has a bad feeling about a certain corner of the room. I'm not scared,

I think I have insomnia it’s not even funny at this point I slept 2 and 1/2 hrs Friday night after sleeping Thursday night. The night before I slept like 4 hrs the the I stayed up like 42hrs from Sunday to Tuesday. It’s not like I’m on my phone all night I just lay in bed for hrs until the sun comes up. Then I eventually pass out from exhaustion for like 10 hrs
@@MsTropicandy I get up at 7 am everyday and go to the gym for about an hour or hour and a half . Then I go to breakfast around 10am come home by noon and relax around 2 I have a snack. around 5 I eat dinner then hang out with my family and dogs call my boyfriend. I put on horror stories around like 10-11pm and then just don’t fall asleep. I’ve mentioned before I have PNOS aka “ psychosis not otherwise specified” I suffer from both audio and visual hallucinations. I take medication in the morning and at night to manage them aswell as going to therapy since I was 14. My family doesn’t have insurance so I only see my psychiatrist every three months because of the cost.$300 for 30 mins. I go long periods in which my hallucinations are very manageable. Then out of nowhere the meds stop working. Most of my nights are been jerking in and out of consciousness. Right as I’m ready to fall asleep and I’m slipping in to dreamland, I hear sharp noises like scratching, Tapping, clicking, knocking, binging, or screams. I also have frequent night Terrors In which I wake up screaming and sweating.
I can't stand people like that, I mean, I don't mind sharing here and there but first it's can you share some snacks, next it's deodorant, then the next thing you know they wanna borrow some skin. 😒 damn freeloaders!
the last story sounds like a summer camp I had been a camper at and a staff member and funny enough had two experiences at said camp, that said the camp in the story did sound a little different but its been awhile sense i have been there so there could have been some changes, the second story was really creepy

The narrator himself admitted earlier that he heavily edits these and adds details "to make them better" or something Probably the reason why most of the stories here sound like the same person wrote them, unlike Let's Read or Swamp Dweller channels

However, with swamps stories, people will still write in with a fictional story made in a realisic first hand style if you know what i mean, my point is i guess, most of these true stories on YT, weather it be darkness, swamp, mortis etc, will be fictional, or at least an exaggerated account of what happened, say for instance, with Wendigo encounters. Lets Read being an exception for the most part.
