The fall began with the force awakens, we just didnt realize it in that moment. Those stupid 3 films are the multi-ton weight around the neck of and holding star wars on the bottom of the ocean. There is no chance for any renasance until those so called movies are nuked into decannonzation.
@@TheMightyCookieShow (JBJ) I think time has revealed that to be more and more true each year. A lot of people want to point fingers directly at JJ Abrams and blame him for everything, and I do believe he needs to share a lot of the blame. But the lack of a cohesive narrative and direction from the beginning is an indictment on the producers, the people over the whole thing. It's their job along with the directors and writers to make sure there is a clear vision and I don't even think Kathleen Kennedy has ever been capable of understanding Star Wars well enough to do that. So I think she should probably take the majority of the blame but there is certainly plenty of blame to be given to JJ and to Rian as well.
