Yeah but steaming music is kind of important and this appears to be the cellular connection that’s draining the battery. Don’t know if it said this in the video but with cellular off it would last like 8 hours on the same test. I ended up buying the phone again, and may make another video
It all depends what are you going to use it for. Mine, I use it for sms, calls, Watts’s app. That’s it. You’ll find that battery will last for a couple of days. For everything else I use a mini tablet, like on line banking, purchases, and when I am at home I may a couple of videos or movies. I have gps in the car. Phone connects to car and I can make/answer phone calls if desired (not recommended just enjoy your drive). There is no way I will take my tablet in public except in cafe perhaps and then I pack in my rucksack. Usually on my lunch breaks and when I get home. I will never take it out to check anything at all.😂 I use it as a dumb phone, except for Watts app as my family is spread across 3 continents. We need cheap way to communicate.
Honestly though i think if you buy one of these just for basic needs then it works fine. For me the sole purpose of owning one is to reduce my screen time. Having the battery run out quicker makes me worry more subsequently reducing screen time. I know a lot of people own one for the vibe, but if thats what youre after there are better options.
2-3 hours!! I wanted to order this for when my iPhone breaks. I miss a good ole flip phone, now you have me contemplating if its worth it but its one of the very few flip phones I've seen where you can download spotify. Which is one of the reasons I haven't switched sooner, I need my music. Sigh.
LMAO Cat doesn't make new phones anymore. Also why would you buy this phone to watch a youtube video on loop? The point is to take it out of your pocket and use it occasionally
@@stanleywang7367 is a battery test. The thing is useless and dies super fast if it’s connected to a phone network and just listening to TH-cam music with the screen off

Mine doesn't seem too bad - I'm coming from a 2020 iPhone SE which already had less than average battery life from new. Normal day to day usage the battery will get somewhere in the region of 4 hours of screen on time, which I think is pretty good considering the size of the battery. Standby battery life was originally poor. 50% gone in 6 hours sitting in my pocket. I rectified this by going in to Settings / Apps / (See All Apps / Pick An App) / Advanced / Battery / Background Restriction / Restrict Background Use. For more or less all of my apps I have the background battery use set to restricted. The standby time is now brilliant. I now easily get 2 days out of the phone with normal use (1.5 - 2 hours of screen time a day browsing Reddit / using WhatsApp / watching TH-cam). If I use the phone less often I can push towards 3 days. I would guess 4 days on standby with minimal use. Whilst I'm here, I would also recommend downloading ProCam X Lite from the play store and linking it to the action button. It's free to download and ad free, plenty of features and does a much better job with the colours than the standard app. You can use the volume up as a shutter too. Obviously the resolution is still only 5mp, but the picture quality is much better. I wouldn't panic about the battery life providing you restrict background use. I haven't de-bloated mine either. If you're planning on using it super heavily you'll likely find it to be sub par, but with normal usage I would say it's okay.
You're trying to run a flip phone as if it were a smart phone. Yes it has smart features, but this is geared more towards individuals who don't want all the smart phone features and will have minimal use for it such as calls/texts and occasional browsing. I don't fault you or negate your input but it's worth mentioning that you even said you tried to run TH-cam. And in this video you show us you trying to play Minecraft. Lol. How long does it last without you trying to do those things? Someone else mentioned theirs lasted up to 2 days.
