Sew a Father-Son Bowtie Set: Tutorial for Adult and Baby Sizes

Let's sew bowties! This is a perfect beginner sewing project, as it's very simple and quick to make (making one bowtie takes about 30 minutes - that's it!). Plus, this sewing project does not require a lot of fabric or fitting, so it's perfect as a homemade Christmas gifts or item to sell for your handcraft business. My baby has turned one recently and I've decided to make him and his dad matching bowties for as a cute Father and Son photoshoot idea - and these bowties looked amazing in photos!
These bowties are also an idea for upcycling project - because you need very little fabric, it's good to recycle an old garment or use fabric scraps! I upcycled my old skirt that I no longer fit in - it's woven fabric was just perfect to make these bowties.

I make a bowtie for a friend of mine, but I used silk and make the second part smaller. I also make an elastic band for hair with the first and the second part for his girlfriend. Thank you for this useful and lovely tutorial.
