    Guts also look super realistic when you take strips of Dollar Tree creepy cloth and spray the great stuff on it. I have tried it with regular twine in the past, but it seems like the creepy cloth gives it more of a backing to hold onto.

    Thanks for the video! I just finished doing my vines and they look amazing. Have them hanging from the house and it really adds a cool effect feel.

      I forgot the part where I used the heat gun to “shrink” the Cellophane, helped it a little.

    Did you keep the Saran Wrap on or remove before painting? I can’t seem to figure it out. I wouldn’t think Saran Wrap would hold paint well. Thank you! These are great!

    • @OjaiHaunt
      @OjaiHaunt  ปีที่แล้ว

      It says on, the great stuff is so sticky the Saran Wrap doesn’t come off at all, and I painted onto the Saran Wrap.

    Why didn’t you paint while open on the Saran? Looks good

      Didn’t think of that, maybe next time. I did like adding the details though after with the dry brush.

      Thanks for the tip! I'm doping a haunted manor with family graveyard in the front. This will be perfect for my house columns "overgrowth".

    • @OjaiHaunt
      @OjaiHaunt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not very long at all, a few hours. Depending on the weather. Have fun!

    Do you think this technique could be used to decorate indoors? I have tons of white walls that I want to run vines all round like the halls of the middle school in S2. But im worried I’ll take them off and my walls will stained…

    • @OjaiHaunt
      @OjaiHaunt  ปีที่แล้ว

      I used command hooks, and they worked great. You can poke through the Saran wrap and use the twine as well. Then the hooks came off the wall perfectly and clean. I may it depend on the type of paint you use, each type is different. Mine didn’t leave a mark on my walls. Perhaps make a test one and try it first. These are the hooks I used, they were small enough to hide. Command GP067-16NA, White, Easy... www.amazon.com/dp/B0751TRS6Y?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

    Do you take the seran wrap off or paint it eithe foam stll wrapped?

    • @OjaiHaunt
      @OjaiHaunt  ปีที่แล้ว

      I left it on, gives it some nice texture & yes I painted it. The foam is so sticky there is no way that it’s coming off. 😆

  • @wendychen1915
    @wendychen1915 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I can't quite tell but did you keep the saran wrap on around the hard foam and then spray paint?

    • @OjaiHaunt
      @OjaiHaunt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I painted them after the foam had dried.

  • @emilyolivon6037

    how long did you wait for them to dry before painting them?

    • @OjaiHaunt
      @OjaiHaunt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmmm good question, I believe I just waited till the foam got hard. I think 6 hours.

    I would like to make this but I’m worried about the paint washing off onto my front porch in the rain! Did you have that problem? Do you think they’ll hold up for 2 weeks? This was a great video!

    • @OjaiHaunt
      @OjaiHaunt  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I didn’t have that problem, yet it never rained. I used them again in 2021 so they held up for a few years fine. The paint did start to flake off, after being in the hot sun for a month.

    What is the great stuff usually used for? When it drys does it get real hard?

    • @OjaiHaunt
      @OjaiHaunt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cracks in walls, yes it gets stiff like foam but you can still cut an carve it.
