I like the very clean and precise sound of this small pipe organ. Very dry in this small room, no reverb. But I can understand why the choirs like this for practice better than a piano or electronic organ. Nice demonstration. Thanks, Paul
Solche kleinen Orgeln wie dieser sind sehr hilfreich, Paul. Man muss nur an eine flexibel Disposition denken und mit den richtigen Materialien arbeiten. Grüße aus Brasilien!
It a pleasure to see this Tiny Box Organ, the sounding are Beautiful, thanks for the demonstration,i am really like it, Alain,, Salutation from Montreal Quebec
WOW! I've heard several other small box organs similar to this but THIS one is the only one I've heard that, w/all the stops pulled out, sounds like a large, full size organ! I love it! Bravo, Paul, thanks for showing us this organ. I'm a gospel, country, and jazz saxophonist in America but love pipe organ classical music. I follow you, the Scott brothers, and Anna Lapwood as often as you all put out videos. I thoroughly enjoy all the music you all play!! Thank you!
Dear Paul, I remember this video in the past and I enjoyed hearing it again. It’s a pure, refreshing sound that certainly meets the needs in that small space. Thanks for sharing these delightful videos of organs that we may never encounter on our own! 😊. Royden
Thank you Paul as always. 🎹🐧 I assume/hope that you are friends with Ben Maton, in Salisbury, England? Ben has a tiny portable pump-reed organ to play in small village churches when the main organ is not well-maintained.
There are several American organ builders who make continuo organs: C.B. Fisk, Taylor & Boody, Pasi, Martin Ott, to name some of the better known ones. Mander in the UK also exports to the US and has representatives in the US as do some other European builders.
You might also check with the Organ Clearing House, they help find new homes for organs that are no longer in use. I haven’t seen a continuo organ on their website, but they only display a few instruments of the many they have available. I know they have several small trackers that work as practice or choir organs.
A Gedeckt is a stopped flute (it has either a stopper inside the pipe or a cap on the top). Stopped flute pipes sound an octave lower than open pipes so the “8’ foot” low C is only 4 feet long. If the case is not tall enough to fit the longest pipes, they may be set horizontally in the case across the width.
Hallo, lieber Paul.

Wunderbar Paul Fey. 👌👍🙏
That would be a fantastic instrument for a small, intimate chapel service venue.
A Kris’s, clean sound for a small organ.

Wow, I would love to find something like this for sale in the U.S. This seems like it might be marketed as a Positive Organ. Very nice.
