I told my friend that Diamond Jubilee (when it dropped) would be my AOTY, unless something wild came out of left-field. Well, here it is. This came out of left field and was jaw dropping. Black Midi crawled so Geordie could sprint.
@@FRUITYLAND I think that if you like some crazy shit, Swans would be into your liking. For me their best album is The Glowing Man. So beautyful but freakyshly loud and scary music. One time I was stoned as fuck and it was one of the greatest expieriance in my life. Also Godspeed You! Black Emperor Exists. They have this one album called Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas To Heaven. Very long (4 songs that are 20 minutes long). It is kinda frightening to see the run times but it is 100% worth it. Hope you check it out, your reactions are so dope, pretty similar to mine lool
@@szczypiorstormchaser8802you will not gonna believe this, imma bout to react swans’s album later but unfortunately i will go for the most rated i would say, to be kind, but ofc im gonna go for their other discography. and for godspeed you!! shut upp!!!, i already finish that album yesterday with king crimson’s album, the reaction still on editing 🔥, but first im gonna go listen to godspeed you new album no tittle, haha thank you, well my reaction just less interaction since i just want to enjoy the music tho ❤️
@@FRUITYLAND also for the swans you should begin with the trylogy, ots The Seer, To Be Kind and The Glowing Man. Really long journey (6hrs) but worth it. Like I said for me the glowing man is the best from the three :)
Amazing album and reaction, you should really listen to Tropicalists manifesto album Tropicália ou Panis et Circensis, it was a musical movement during the dictatorship in Brazil in the 70's, I believe the whole sound of Greep's album takes such creative inspirations from it, he even recorded the track "Terra" in São Paulo with brazillian session musicians. Much love from Brazil!
@@FRUITYLANDSweet! Highly recommend Scott, he’s a big influence on Geordie Greep’s music. He started off as a teen-idol in the 60s, did some amazing singer-songwriter albums, then disappeared for 10 years and came back making the most crazy music ever. Bish Bosch is unhinged, and The Drift is a hellish album.
Though I enjoyed Holy, Holy a lot, I didn’t believe this album is going to be Aoty because there are already so many good albums such as Brat and Imaginal Disk. But now my thought is changed. This album is on the another level..AOTY for sure. What a great year for music nerds lol
same actually, i thought this album will be more aggressive or more experimental but goddamm after i finished to listen, i just fell in love wkwkwk 😂, geordie greep become frank sinatra 21st century on this album haha
Insane album and great reaction! I don't know if you do requests, but I'd love to see you react to Syd Matters. You might know a couple of songs from the game "Life is Strange" but their albums are insanely underrated. It's like an indie folk version of Radiohead, with amazing instrumentals and lyrics. In my opinion, their albums are almost to a Radiohead level album, so that says it all. I hope you give them a listen, and thanks for your great reactions, keep it up!
@@MrBaumGeo if you like Obstacles you'll surely enjoy a lot of their tracks, especially from the albums "Ghost Days" and "Brotherocean", they are amazing.
