My friends have been pushing me to start my own channel for a couple years now and after watching Brant, Bum, and then CMR I decided that my friends were right and I SHOULD make my own content. Well, Brant is 100% correct because it ain't easy y'all. Like anything else it takes diligence and hard work. Now I've been going for a few months and have 17 subscribers who I appreciate so much. My videos aren't great but they are getting better as I learn the ropes. I am treating this venture like a business and intend on it growing into my career. I taught myself from TH-cam how to do taxidermy 10 years ago and quit my job this year in January to do taxidermy full time. I almost died from an aortic aneurysm in February, and while in recovery, I found this guy named Matthew Isbell catching fish right where I always fish. Bama Beach Bum Fishing was the first TH-cam channel I ever subscribed to, and shorty after got to watching you and Cameraman Ron. I was never on TH-cam except for intructionals, but after y'all unknowingly helped me get through the toughest year of my life, heck I decided to start a channel if nothing else to document the awesome things I see and experience, and maybe eventually get me a side hustle too! I have a whole new respect for the work that goes into producing content! I have had to learn from scratch about cameras, editing, all of it..... It is a ton of time and work just getting enough footage to put a video together, and y'all make some awesome content! Y'all keep it up, and when the trolls come out, remember this guy, that y'all helped forget about open heart surgery!!

Great Story Brant! This makes me look back on where I started. Working in a cement plant for $1.50 an hour after school. Then $5 an hour out of high school, then into the pipe fitting trade that evolved into HVAC, and finally commercial and industrial HVAC controls. I was able to throw in the towel and turn on retirement benefits in 2020, while I'm still healthy enough to enjoy it. Diversifying your income sources is a great strategy. I hope you have thought about a retirement stash. At first it doesn't seem like much, but when it finally does get going it really starts piling up.
I definitely respect you and your grind to be a TH-camr I've always thought about doing TH-cam and you definitely inspire appreciate your videos and will always watch them .

I’ve been struggling with the idea and just have been beating myself down in my 9-5 job and just straight down below the dumps. When I moved to Florida I would’ve never found any good fishing spots with you. I have fished across from you at blind pass and didn’t know it which was awesome at least to me. Perseverance and hard work will always pay off. If more people in this country would use that rule-of-thumb we would be in a lot better shape. Enjoyed this video as much as I do your fishing videos.

Great Story Brant! This makes me look back on where I started. Working in a cement plant for $1.50 an hour after school. Then $5 an hour out of high school, then into the pipe fitting trade that evolved into HVAC, and finally commercial and industrial HVAC controls. I was able to throw in the towel and turn on retirement benefits in 2020, while I'm still healthy enough to enjoy it. Diversifying your income sources is a great strategy. I hope you have thought about a retirement stash. At first it doesn't seem like much, but when it finally does get going it really starts piling up.
I definitely respect you and your grind to be a TH-camr I've always thought about doing TH-cam and you definitely inspire appreciate your videos and will always watch them .
