@@haroldd5269 Use a hook with a wire screw on it. The pointed end of the acorn is soft enough for the wire to enter. We use acorns to catch grass carp in bass lakes.

Ow snap!! So many fish and not a keeper that is typical sod's law! I recon the pulley rig on a grip lead will help and set the hook for you on a bolting fish we use it often in the UK. With the shop fish 1 o/z of salt in a couple of litres of water and give the fillets a rinse and you will get rid of most of the funky smell hopefully you don't need to but as a back up. Thanks for the recipe that dinner looks great will have to try it. 👍

You should try fishing the Amelia Island intercoastal it is awesome there are a lot of Flounder, Redfish, Sea Trout, Black Drum you name it it is there I went with a guide and had the time of my life. Also your vids are awesome keep up the good work!

For Melanie ...When you have grouper with a fishy smell first soak it in whole milk for about 30 minutes and you'll be pleasantly surprised! I do this with all my grouper. :)

Your sweet wife is used to cooking with hour old fish . Fresh !!!! Market fish is not fresh and has a fishy smell to it. Without her sauce it would not be as good!!!! Love your work..Brant if you don't catch a fish be honest with her...ok?
When the surf is flat like that do you just cast it as far as you can or are you looking out for anything specific??? I had similar conditions today and did decent but felt a bit lost on where to cast.
