Интересно, какой на вкус этот корень лотоса. Жарят, парят, варят..с солью, с перцем, сахаром. На какой наш овощ он похож вкусом?..очень любопытно)
@@yanika6279 ростет он в болоте, соответственно и на вкус и запах "болото"! Поэтому при приготовлении добавляют много специй и приправ ,чтобы запах и вкус перебить,а ценен корень лотоса из за большого содержания крахмала!

I really wonder how lotus root tastes. It looks so peculiar and sounds so crispy and fresh when you cut it. Seeing how much work it is to harvest them, I bet it is a very satisfying meal!
Personally, I think lotus root is similar to water chestnut and Jicama yam. It almost has a very mild nutty flavour and a slight sweetness bordering on bland. Crunchy when raw and still retaining some of that crunchiness when cooked. It gets starchier the longer it's cooked.
Another rural Chinese channel to sub too, nice.
Love to see how many ways she make different foods with different veg an other things like roots an the places she goes is so beautiful an green .🤔 does it ever rain there an does she still go out look for things too cook for that day 😏
