    Looking at the FSM now. The ball joint torque spec is higher than you mention. It's 87-123 ft lbs. The 3 bolts that hold it to the arm are 76-94 ft lbs. Great video though! Thank you for posting.

    Good job, and thanks for sharing. One tip to improve your video quality is to cut out the music especially when you're talking. Thanks again!

    My snap ring is off and the CV axels still won't slide as if it is stuck or jammed or something, I unbolted the other end of the cv axels front the transmission and still cannot slide the CV axels out to replace the balljoint

      @robertcasselman6155, that's odd I have never encountered this type of issue before, you can try spraying them with some liquid wrench or WD40 and hitting them with a plastic or rubber mallet to see if they will come lose out of your hub assemblies.

      To get mine running smooth was new spark plugs and wires, new distributor. Also replaced the knock sensor and relocated it to top of my engine. My timing belt was also replaced shortly before I bought it.

    Great video! Hope she’s still running strong! 363k miles is an achievement. I am at 223k on my 02 QX4 and I plan to keep it alive until it’s a classic and keep it as a daily/vacation car.

    KYB suspensions are cheaper then the nissan's original one. It's all the same but the factory one is oil and KYB is Gas. I replaced them in my R50 years ago and still doing great.

      @Bader Barghouti, yes Nissan OEM is always the best choice, just a little pricey. I called Nissan today to get a quote for replacement engine mounts and transmission mount for my 2015 Nissan Altima and it's gonna be around $900.00 bucks to get the parts through Nissan, so it looks like I will be getting those parts from Rock Auto as well👨🏾‍🔧

    A bit off topic, but what engine air filter have you got in there? My RPMs are dropping and I'm probably going to get an AEM DryFlow.

      @Fosty, I'm currently running a Fram Engine air filter.

    Hey Chris was wondering if you ever encountered an P0505 code for idle air control valve. Ever since I had that problem after my mechanic changed out the IACV and cleaned the throttle body the car is having issues with starting. It will turn on and immediately go to zero rpm’s and cut off. Only when the cars been sitting usually overnight or till the engine is completely cold but once warmed up it start fine. I figured out if I slightly keep my foot on gas about 2 millimeters it starts and I keep it there for maybe 20 seconds or so and it stays on but doesnt do the normal warm up procedure on the rpm’s. Lmk thanks brother.

    • @TheCamperDanFiles
      @TheCamperDanFiles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Kee Kim, there is an idle relearn procedure that has to be completed on your R50 after the IACV was replaced. It doesn't sound like your mechanic completed this step. Just do a quick search on Google to find the IACV relearn procedure for a Nissan Pathfinder. I hope this helps👨🏾‍🔧 Thanks again for watching!
      Chris.

      @@TheCamperDanFiles will look into the re learn procedure or maybe see if the dealership can do it. Thanks I appreciate it.

    Have you ever have problems with the clutch master cylinder ? I have a question y have pathfinder 01 but the clutch pedal in the mornings is almost in the floor

    • @TheCamperDanFiles
      @TheCamperDanFiles  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Billy Vazquez, welcome to the channel. I haven't had any problems with my clutch master cylinder on my 01. I would suggest starting with the cheapest thing first. When was the last time the fluid was changed? If it's been a while you can try bleeding the system and adding some clean fluid. Moreover, it could also indicate there's a leak somewhere in the system. You didn't mention the mileage on your R50. Just wanted to clarify, Is the pedal "almost being on the floor in the mornings"? Is this the resting place you're finding your clutch when starting it up for the first time? Or are you speaking about how far you have to depress the clutch?
      Thanks again for watching!
      Chris.

      @@TheCamperDanFiles i already change the fluid , bleed the system , adjust the pedal, and yes the pedal in the mornings are almost at floor , after few pumps the pedal goes up, its my first r50 thanks
