This little truck brought me back to when I was a young teenager, my dad had this same exact pickup and same color but it was a ‘89. Learned how to drive stick in it. Miss it a lot. It’s crazy how expensive these little Toyotas have gotten lately. A rust box, goes for 3k easily.
This was my “first car”. I hated it for two reasons… 1. No A/C in California summers…. 2. It would never pass that damn California SMOG test… I either had to rebuild or buy a *new carburetor every time I had to register and do a SMOG test on it. Such a pain in the A. Don’t worry, I moved out of California over a decade ago. Thank God…
