- This was a different and fun pattern to cut. I really liked how they turned out. While I did not have any major issues with the cut, I definitely need more practice.

My new winter hobby along with many other wood working projects!
In this video I am using the Excalibur EX21 scroll saw with a No.5 reverse blade. Red oak/oak wood and boiled linseed oil for the finish.

Well true, but I have to admit I do create my own drama lol
Nice job Amy. You are progressing just fine. Trying new ways to do things just builds up your skill set. You can pick and choose how you want to apply certain techniques. There is seldom only one correct way to get something accomplished on the scroll saw. There are a lot of people in our community who love to help new scrollers get started. Glad you enjoyed the pattern.

I separate my pieces off the main board before I cut them out but that's just me
Yes, I have to agree! Everything is all new to me so I am learning as I go. I have still done other pieces this way (some people never learn lol). Thank you for your input, I have learned so much from so many like you with way more experience!
