BEST YAMAHA CVP 809 VIDEO EVER. YAMAHA needs to give you something awesome for doing this video. I love Yamaha also. I have a Yamaha Fz6 Motorcycle that resembles the BMW bike a bit. And I have a Yamaha MOTIF XF8 & the new MONTAGE 7. Have the same Yamaha keyboard you had there can't even remember who I gave it to.

I bought a 609 on a good deal when they came out with the 709. This one looks like mine with the screen and everything. I'm sure there are a lot of things they've added to this one. I'm sure you've enjoyed playing it.
Hi - thanks for posting this. I've had a CVP105 since the year 2000 but decided to splash out and replace it with a CVP809. It's been on order for 4 weeks and the music store (50 or so miles away) arranged for a haulier to deliver and install. But they cancelled the delivery twice because of COVID-19 issues. I'm pretty useless when it comes to putting things together but after watching your video (many times!), I decided that I would collect the piano and put it together myself - which I have now done successfully. They're a bit heavy, aren't they? And I collected it just before the UK went into lockdown and banned all but the most essential of journeys so, had I not done that, I could have been waiting weeks (months?) before delivery. Thanks again and stay safe in these worrying times from Chris in the UK.

Gratz Albert. Hell of a upgrade. My last Clav was the 70 I think back in mid 90s. I use a Roland Fantom X8 and a Yamaha Montage 7 in my studio. Big fan of Yamaha piano sounds for sure.
@@lucent62 My first keyboard was an MT70 in 1984. I did one other Casio twice, a HT3000. The HT3000 was under rated IMHO. But, having played a Yamaha CP70 on tour, then at least one other actual white grand piano, I am a fan of the feel and sound.
Congrats for buying CVP 809. I wish I had a lot of money to buy that thing, but I'm poor now and I can't buy any instruments now. But I love playing music. 😭

I wish I could buy a Yamaha CVP 805 because it's cheaper but lacks super articulation 2 voices, effects, and some voices. But still, worth it for me. I hope I can afford a Yamaha CVP 805 this year or another year.

Yes they do have option of 2 models it's your own preference, I chose Matt black , ebony polish is about $1000 more . Good luck with yours .thank you for watching my video .

The Ebony sure looks smooth and clean, though, from online viewing.

The base PIANO ONLY sound it's exactly the same as 7 years ago clavinova I've tried... It was a clavinova 300 something. Anyways, congratulations on your purchase and have fun!!
