Hi Graham, just re watched your BGT audition and forgot how much I loved it😂 really genuine lovely person, never stop being you!! glad to see you’re doing well
That keyboard is fabulous - the technology blows me away (like that house in 'The Wizard of Oz'), yet it's Graham Blackledge who is the real the business. Knowledgeable, with a likeable personality that could teach a nun to suck eggs. Or something. Loved this man on 'Britain's Got Talent'; and what was 'The Royal Variety Performance's' loss is the working men's clubs of the north-west's gain. A truely lovely man and a true star.🌟🧡
Graham you are incredibly good at your job. The enthusiasm for each instrument is obviously genuine and I chanced upon these vidoes at random. Yet I could watch you all day long .As well as being an excellent musician you have a really friendly and likeable personality. Rimmers would do very well to keep hold of you as long as possible
Graham, you are simply a wonderful professional. BGT team had no idea of the consummate musician that you are and that your talent and experience through music changes lives. Your genuine love and passion for music shines through. I'm from Bury and was privileged to have a primary school teacher whose enthusiasm shone through just like yours. Keep on being you and being brilliant. You have brightened my day!
If only I could play the keyboard. That would be the one I would go for. And to top it off, the demo had a first class demonstrator with excellent keyboard skills. He certainly knows his stuff.
Rimmers Music is great. I bought my Yamaha Genos from Graham (not sure if this is the Graham in the video who assisted me during the sale) but the customer service was great and they had the best price for the keyboard in the UK. Rimmers is truly a must check before buying a keyboard, you might be pleasantly surprised.
A very great demonstration of the capabilities of that CVP 809.....Graham is a very good musician and he has the power of transmitting the feeling of having such CVP...
Hi Graham, I must say, you’re the most honest and entertaining demonstrator in the UK. Sooo super cool the way you make it sound so entertaining and well explained. I was under the impression that FreePlay Style are more then just 11 in total on the CVP-809? Can you please rectify that. Thank you so very much … From Melbourne, Australia

Nice review man! I always wonder if Beethoven had this digital piano what could he have done with it. 3:12 it was also refreshing to see a British person sing in American accent!!! Loved it lol
Brilliant expo - brilliant instrument, But! I have bought one and as a singer /player I was so impressed by your opening looping sequence plus adding the mike, but the camera angles did not show the setup process nor the keys you used. Is there any chance of more detailed videos on this aspect? Or do they exist already? Many thanks! - Vince

Many years ago, I had a 309 & loved it. But I needed a portable keyboard. The 309 was sold to a “proper” pianist who loved the action. So that shows how good CVP ‘s were even then. Hi, can I ask you a question before making the decision? I was planing to adquire the CLP-785 because of the Keys touch which I find really realistic as well as the sound that those Keys and the software produce. The question is: I love the features of this new Yamaha BUT I want to play classic piano with the nuances of the CLP-785 What can you tell me? Does it worth a visit to your store or can you advance me something? Thank you very much, I really appreciate your communication style.
Hi Graham! Do you see the 809GP as a significant step up in sound and the action of the keys compared to the 709GP? I think it is, but was curious your impressions. Thank you and all the best, Don
The CVp809 is a massive improvement. If you email customerservice@rimmersmusic.co.uk with your telephone number I will call you to explain..Kindest regards Graham
Graham is super great and professional. Of course, it's absolutely beautiful sound only one knows how to play it. If the camera man can hold the camera steadier and stop moving around too much it would be great. It made me feel dizzy.
Hello Graham ! i loved your video , tell me Sir , can i connect a playpad or ipad to make play sounds from the ipad to the piano ? Does it also exist a system to build in to make piano play himself and move the notes around ...if you get what i mean . a self-playing piano ,would be fantastic at home . i saved your video ,like it very much ,i would like to buy this one . greetigs erik
While I love the CVP series, especially the 800 series, they are out of my price range. I wish Yamaha would update the DGX 660, which is a low budget version of the CVP. Ideally I'd like to see a version of the P515 with arranger functions.
Clavinovas are so absurdly expensive, they should make DGX970 which has all the sound from SX900 and with CFX samples and the beautiful drums samples. Like the 809 cost 13000$ and the sound comes from the overpriced Genos, which is 6000$ that's more double!! Where does the additional 7000$ come from? Better buy a Genos and a Nord Piano or Stage, you'll get the world's best piano sounds and world's best other sounds. 10000, you save 3000. Or if you want a cheap 805, a DGX 670 and SX900 will do. Or if you are poor and you want a versatile piano DGX670 only is the cheapest option.
Hey...finally a demo that isn't full of tunes we've never played or heard. Misty, Take 5, Titanic theme. Nice. I also liked seeing the various accompaniments and different piano sounds. I have a 509 and need to upgrade.
This instrument is absolutely the best I have ever played or heard. If you can afford it buy one. All the sounds are fantastic. The organs especially. In lock down every pianist should have one.
A beautiful demonstration, but the instrument is not really a piano... it looks more as an arranger keyboard with two great piano sounds (Yamaha CFX and the Bosendorfer).
Well it is "just" an arranger kinda. If you listen to kinda most of the arrangers from the mid tier PSR and all the way to the Genos and these Clavinovas they pretty much all have the the same sound Engine. The electronics in these instruments is 95% the same. The difference lies in the keybeds, the quality of the chassis and speaker systems, and then they choose to remove some of the sounds and functions in the software on the smaller versions. They don't produce a different "chip set" for each model. The actual electronics is not that expensive to make, so its just a software difference. Same as when you buy a computer cpu. Most of them is exactly the same cpu, where they choose to "disable" some of the parts inside the cheaper cpu's. These 2 Piano sound also is in eg. the PSR-SX900, the Genos and in the Modx and Montage series. Its the same basic sample set. But dependent on how much memory each instrument have they may have some different versions so the CFX sample in the Montage and Genos may have some more samplelayers so they sound more detailed.
The sound quality is not really showing through, was this recorded on a smart phone ? it makes it sound like a fairly ordinary keyboard. - Not knocking the enthusiasm or the demo, it just doesn't Wow.
I agree. Which is sad as Graham is superb - I mean _really_ superb. Clavinova is, frustratingly, increasingly lacklustre with each new generation since CVP 400. Many key voices sound tinny - totally lacking in depth and richness. What Clavinova really needs is a clean sheet start - but Yamaha lacks the resources to develop an all new model and will, consequently, rumble on and on...
@@Clavinovaman As owner of a CVP 409, I must say that there are some improvements with the 809, but when I compare the price in 2008: SG$ 6,000, now the same model (polish Ebony) is today SG$10,100, which is about 68% increase.
