You pulled off a top quality sketch by just using a bic pen. I'm really impressed.

D3ADMANN the ballpoint pen is a highly underestimated tool for drawing. i have a beautiful piece by an artist Danni Shinya luo done in ballpoint pen. the values and varying line weight are exceptional.

People get too concerned about what pen he is using... A regular gel ballpoint is fine. The key here is to learn the techniques. A pen isn't going to make a difference, he could get the same effect with any ballpoint pen, he knows how to draw, that's the key here.

    If you must know
He is using a bic round stic pen.
Popular among designers cuz of its ability to control line weights with pressure.

How to visualize if i cannot visualize. i really want but when i start to make a scetch it looks so wrong and far from what i visualize. How can i break that circle??? I working in SolidWork and design gadgets with lots of details but when i try to make a scetch on paper it turns so wrong.

Make side view sketches, and get references for your shapes and colour and surfaces. Write down specifically what you want to achieve.

1:23 the baseline is the cast shadow, right? does the baseline only appear when the object is directly ontop of another object? otherwise if it were in the air wouldnt it have reflected light as the most outside perimeter on the opposite side away from the light. Did I explain myself well?

Dude I love your channel. I wish I'd found it sooner. I's really useful as a product designer. But man.. the video quality is SO BAD. Such a shame. Still, I'll check most of your videos. Nice job.
