I think at the beginning of this, before judy and jack start doing all the numbers, she looks beautiful sitting opposite him! she was gorgeous anyway, but she just looks beautiful!
Judy imitating Eliza Doolittle was hilarious! Many people who knew her all said that she was the funniest person they’ve ever met. Both carol burnette and Lucille Ball attested to it. People always like to think of her as such a sad person. Judy once told Liza “let them believe the myth” lol
Jack Carter is handsome, a fabulous impersonator and has wonderful body control, whether dancing or clowning. He's perfect with Judy is always great to watch and to hear.
Grew up with both of these great talents and they SPOILED me. I keep looking for talent like they had and am unable to find it anymore! Jack Carter died today at the age of 93 and will not be replaced (and the same goes for Judy Garland). RIP Jack and send somebody down here to replace you, we desperately need it!
Billy Bailey Ah God bless him...a sad loss ...a last glimpse of the past...as far as entertainment....I want to keep those traditions alive...at least.... I try xx
Alexandra Alberti I wonder why Judy wasn’t asked to play Eliza in the movie instead of Audrey Hepburn. They could have used Judy’s real voice and she would have been wonderful. Sadly, they had to dub over Audreys singing which lost her an Oscar.
the weird thing is i have that EXACT chair in my room but it has been painted purple but cuz its chipping u can see its white, i can sort of say judy garland sat in my chair!!
@defundthewar These are without doubt the best parts. I enjoy her stories very much - as much as her singing, that is always excellent (they only aren't so dramatically efficient when she dubbes them). Some guests have great solo numbers too - I love Donald O'Connor one, for instance. But although the Show isn't 100% great, I absolutely adore it.
@defundthewar I agree Jerry's parts are painful. Actually, he seems to me a boring guy who overacts to be funny (but is never able to). Judy is charming so she can get along with anything, even the poor jokes. I'm curious about something: how can you tell when the stuff is written by her or not?
Check her out in "Meet Me In St. Louis." If her charm and magic in that don't reel you in, then you're immune. Which is fine. Different strokes and all that....
Judy NAILED Ethel Merman!!! Audience clapped for sure!!! lol
Thank you for any post from the wonderful Judy Garland Show.
this is so good. Judy was so wonderful. Jack's no slouch either.
Judy Garland & Jack Carter - two old pros who knew what entertainment was!
A wonderful musical medley that put Judy and Jack's singing and comedic talent on full display. Love it. Thanks for posting it !
please dont ever delete this i love it its the ultimate best

she was gorgeous anyway, but she just looks beautiful!
She had pipes & could dance too! True Class
Alpha Starlite Good actress too.
Such fun!

Liza and Lorna are adamant that their Mum was not a sad or depressed person.
I can’t help but wonder how Julie Andrews felt about that imitation if she saw it.
Judy and Jack Carter would have been as terrific a weekly team as Carol Burnett and Harvey Korman would become later. Better even!
This is fantastic. Thanks so much. Two great talents.
Jack Carter is handsome, a fabulous impersonator and has wonderful body control, whether dancing or clowning. He's perfect with Judy is always great to watch and to hear.
Reuben Hart Judy and Jack adored each other and he always made her laugh! 👍😊
Reuben Hart yeah sooo handsome. Such a deep voice. They don't make men like that anymore. Men look and act so different now.
THIS video wins the Internet. 💙
i LOVE this! they are both brilliant!

Alexandra Alberti Garland was an amazing mimic.
@maxie102 I'm glad you liked! This is one of my favourite moments of the Judy Garland Show.
@Dayniac4324 Thank you Toni! Judy and Jack are really amusing in this number!
I think so too!
@judyinjune You are right. Actually, I think she displays a touching beauty all the way through her show.
Good God.
That's Gibby's grandfather in iCarly!!!

@maxie102 Dear, I loved your message! It's a promisse! Kisses
@ninskimig123 You're welcome! ;D
xxxxx
04:12 - 04:17 Carter could always break Judy up.. He should have been a semi regular instead of that no talent shlub, Jerry Van Dyke
Does anybody know what episode this was from?
@OldHollywoodLove The surely are!

Don't get the fuss over Judy Garland. Great singer, yes, but that's about it.
Your loss...
Check her out in "Meet Me In St. Louis." If her charm and magic in that don't reel you in, then you're immune. Which is fine. Different strokes and all that....
Joseph Ciolino There are so many dimensions to Garland. She was so much more than just a singer. I guess you either ‘get’ her or you don’t.
Great singer (as the greatest) great dancer, great actress, comedy or drama. Great personality. Great humanbeing. And just naturally funny.
To bad for you. The greatest TALENT AND.PERSONALITY EVER.
