I’m going to the sequoias the 28th of this month, I’m so excited!!! Any suggestions of what to wear, what to bring, etc? It’s my first time going and first time experiencing snow in a forest so I don’t know what to expect, so excited but nervous 😁😬
You're going to LOVE it! It's so beautiful there! Make sure to bring several layers like a thermal layer, some sort of insulation, a puffer, waterproof/resistant jacket if its snowing, beanie, and a balaclava for your face! We'd also recommend bringing some microspikes if you have any plans of hiking in the snow so it helps you keep traction with your shoes :) Hope that helps!
Awesome - thanks for sharing! Never been but have been wanting to go and this gives me an idea of what to expect . I also loved that it was short and to the point . Loved everything about the video, and you both are great 😊👍🏼.
This is the first video of yours that I have watched and you guys are absolutely adorable 🥰 I do mommy vlogs but in a past life I enjoyed exploring. I can live vicariously through your channel until my kids grow up some 😂 beautiful shots and I can’t watch to see other places you’ve gone/go to! ☺️
My boyfriend and I are going to visit this weekend and staying at two airBnbs. If we want to hike the trails do you recommend any essentials? We both have waterproof hiking boots but I saw that you mentioned micro something for shoes?
Aww.. you guys made me jealous:) our family were supposed to go there today and we did change our plan due to weather concerns 😌. It was beautiful snowing though. Thank you two for sharing that👍
New subscriber 🙋🏽♀️ we are planning to go to Sequoia next week and Came across your channel 😊 already in love with all your videos and your Instagram 😍 😃
Hey Chloe! Due to the stay at home order in CA right now, all campgrounds are closed! If you're planning on staying the night nearby, you'll have to find an Air BnB or hotel.
It probably won't work now because of Covid but we stayed at Wuksachi Lodge, which is right in the middle of the giant redwood forest. It was incredible and rates are reasonable. There's only one restaurant and its pricey, so bring your own breakfast and lunch food
We had both but didn't need to put on the chains since it was the first day of snow. I believe they're requiring you have chains in your car with you now! I would just call the ranger station right before you're about to head out and they'll tell you the current conditions!
I'm here now in three rivers. Going to be spending 5 days in the park. I'm so excited
Hope you have a fantastic trip!
The color grading of this is so pretty
Thanks so much!

Looks beautiful! I have never been and I want to visit Sequoia sometime this winter.
It is SO beautiful during the winter!
Very beautiful NP! 👍
It's so stunning no matter what season you go!
I’m going on Friday! Fingers crossed I get to see some snow.
Hope you got to see some snow! It's so stunning up there!

Haha we recommended microspikes if the trails are icy! If it’s covered in powdery snow then we’d recommend investing in some snowshoes
I read there’s just about 2-5 inches of snow on the NPS website. Love your instagram by the way :)

We decided to make it a day trip because the snow was gonna be crazy the day after! Of course, happy you enjoyed it!

Is there enough snow to sled yet? :) please let me know when you go
Such a dope video! Thank you for sharing! when you say to start early what time would you recommend to beat the crowds?
Thanks so much! We mean to get up at sunrise! That's definitely when there's the least amount of people!
When does the first snow usually come?? Planning to go mid December !
Usually around October/November!
It’s so beautiful 😍
The snow was so magical! We want to go back already!
Loved it thanks!
Thank you so much!
Is there snow up there in April? I’ll be going in a few weeks, hoping the park and roads are good! Great video!
There was only a tiny bit as of last week. It looks like most of it is melted but there might be a few patches left!
What month did u go? Im plannin to go late winter but want to avoid road closures to avoid too much hiking
Thanks
We went mid December!
@@TheLoversPassportthanks!
Hi guys, we are planning to be there this Thursday. Should we spend the night somewhere nearby? Thanks a lot!!

We are planning to go next week and have booked to stay at three rivers 🙂 and will just go from there.
Is there still a lockdown as of now? Planning on going mid February.
I plan to go in 7 days. Do you need chains on your car or 4WD or anything like that?
We had both but didn't need to put on the chains since it was the first day of snow. I believe they're requiring you have chains in your car with you now! I would just call the ranger station right before you're about to head out and they'll tell you the current conditions!
Did you car camp or where did you stay at?
We car camped at the closest Walmart an hour outside of the park 😂
Nice place 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Did you need chains ⛓ for your tires ???
We didn't since we had 4x4 but everyone else that didn't needed them! You will be required to have them when entering the park!
Girl in yellow u r pretty but guy in red is so yummy!!! Just the voice alone is ummm!
Lol thank you so much!
