@@DadDaughtersandDrinks and you also commented on use of the harmonic minor in the live version:-) I may be misperceiving it, but it think it's almost all in a harmonic minor with a few scattered accidentals, where the accidentals add just a bit of poignancy to what's already a beautiful, haunting melody (perhaps someone with a better ear than me can comment). Oddly, it reminds me of the Wexford Carol, an ancient tune that I first heard rather recently (there's a killer version out there with Alison Krauss, Yo-Yo Ma & Natalie MacMaster). Very different vibe, similar melodic style. And yes, she is tapping - you can see it in the live video. And yes, she doesn't do it often, but you can find bits of it scattered here and there through Voᗺ's oeuvre. She's OK at it, but it's not her strong suite. Widi's tapping in Kawani, OTOH, is more striking and memorable. I perceive the 3 red cylindrical(ish) objects as the handles of oyster knives (scraping down). Pearls figure strongly in Sufi imagery and Sufism has a strong influence on Islam in Indonesia (the Retas album cover references a common Sufi story about Rabia Al Basri). As bw1342 notes elsewhere, this is the same artist that did the freaky helmet for School Revolution (Benny Kusnoto). The imagery in this video puts me in mind of H.R. Giger and artwork I've seen on Lovecraft covers. I perceive it as hovering ambiguously between vegetation and creatures.

Fully agree with your opening statement.. audio quality too many of them were poor. Exception is Tour in Europe (Rennes), Pasiwali of Taiwan, but American 9 location tour most of them did not have good audio quality.
