locksport: Failed to pick old Abloy using rear tensioning pick. Front tensionining build 0.1 worked

- I made a really simply front tensioner that is compatible with my normal Abloy Classic picking tips.
With this type of front tensioner the picking tip is a bit limited to check discs at full cut (#5 cut) position.
Maybe should make a completely new front tensioning 2in1 pick (see build 0.2 video its like this):
- front tensioner based on 6mm tube
- picking tip rod inside front tensioner tube with a 6mm picking tip.
Definitely the abloy king in opinion. Great picking and great front tensioning pick.
Really nice picking my friend :)
Well done for sussing why it wouldn’t rear tension 👏
That’s great!!! You figured it out!!! I have one like that could not get the true gates in the middle of the lock. Maybe I need to make a front tension tool to get mine. Will try that 😀 thank you for sharing this info!!! 😀🐾🐈⬛🐈🐾🍻👍👏👏👏
Great explanation!!
As meticulous as ever ;-) Could it work if you tried the "exchanging the tensioning/picking tip for the last disc unpicked" technique used in picking normal DD locks (in which key ways are slot in the middle of the discs), as shown in some LPL's videos?
i think if i counter rotate rear tensioner (like lpl does for "normal" dd locks), tensioner rod will turn all other discs that are at zero cut position accidentially too. abloy classic is a really cool lock design its 90deg turning half moon key profile gives nice challenge for a locksporter.
@@idanhurja Ah yes you're right! I overlooked that factor. :-P Thanks again!
Great job! Thanks for sharing and have a fantastic week.
