- This day was rough, but so beautiful. I’m so grateful that I got to be apart and sing such a beautiful tribute. The wonder music department and my vocal Coach Tara Simon helped make this such a powerful moment and I’m grateful. Enjoy. Rip Kristoff St John and Neil Winters.

This is how real producers bid farewell to a stalwart, beloved character and actor. Beautiful. RIP Kristoff St John.
Knowing these actors aren't ACTING over "Neil's" actual death is tearing my heart to shreds right now....They truly adored this man. So did I.

@@AlexNoudelman He and Kirstoff St John remained close friends, because it was Kirstoff St John, who gave Shemar his big break on Y&R. It was up to Kirstoff who he wanted to work with, as there were multiple actors that auditioned for the role of Malcolm, and Kirstoff believed in Shemar

Yes Che ! I called Neil " my t.v. friend" when I heard the news.I cried and whispered the words "Good - bye my t.v. friend".Whenever my momma dropped me off to school , I'd become sad and cry "bye mommy". It was like I was never going to see her again.

As a long time Y&R fan, since the 1980's, this was probably the most crushing death regarding one of the actors. This episode was so sad. Mt. St. John will truly be missed.
This is the “saddest” Y&R I have ever seen in my 25 years of watching.. K St John fly high. You have touched a lot of people over the years. 😍😍 and, even years after..

I have to say out of all the shows I've watched on TV this tribute to KRISTOFF ST. JOHN has to have been the most amazing one I have seen . U could tell that it wasn't just a bunch of cast members just saying some nice words , there was a whole lot of feelings deep down emotional feelings- Love- Respect-and a lot beautiful memories that were full of Love and tears, one hell of a family. Very endearing voice. This was the last episode viewed by our Dear Mother 🌹as I watched with her. She enjoyed YR for decades. YR was a part of her life, a time to getaway from the real world and relive hers in virtuality. While she was at work there was no way she miss the next episode, I wasn't around during these times but she shared how that recordings of each day she'd miss wwre viewed at her leisurely. I'd introduced her to YR, while in my teens, set up the characters as program unfolds, from that point on she watched as much as every episode. This was like vacation. There was another program prior to YR that she was into, As the World Turns. Frequent viewer while residing in St. Augustine before relocating her family centrally. YR has brought our Mother a sense of an external family perhaps when her immediate overwhelmingly devoted to families and work schedules. This was a sad moment. When she left out world went numb. The air was dry, trees were still, not a leaf moved that I foresaw. We were all immensely shattered by our Mothers departure, whose Spirit Gracefully Tests with The Heavenly Father 🌹🕊Molly W Glen🕊🌹

My Mom is a Y&R fanatic as was my great grandmother. So I grew up on this show. I remember all the times I was sick and be on the couch and my Mom would come in and say ok it's Y&R, you can watch what you want again afterwards. My 2 favorite characters were always Neil and Nick. I thought Neil aka Kirstoff St John gave great advice at times throughout his run on the show. And I liked Joshua Morrow aka Nick because he and I have the same 1st name.
This brought Tears 😭 to my eyes. Such a Beautiful Voice.

To the cast, writers and directors, I have watched Kristoff since he was on the "Bad News Bears" many years ago. He and Victoria were the reason I started watching the show in the early 90s. I was so saddened by his departure, but this tribute brought me to tears. So beautifully done, each of you showing us what was and is truly in hearts. In this moment I have said goodbye not only to his role but to the man himself who through his work and actions in real life lifted up so many people. Y&R, CBS the Cast and Crew, thank you for putting the positive image of Neil Winters out in the universe. A role that role modeled for many young African Americans, who could see someone who looked like themselves on daytime TV. May you all be blessed with happy memories of him, love and comfort each other in his honor.

That was extremely heartbreaking. The singer got me so much I don't know about her and it's a shame. For the first time that song hit me hard. Wow. Kristoff St. John I just can't believe it that you're gone.
Her name is Loren Lott and she was on American Idol
Lord Lord Lord...This episode right here...Jesus help me! I'm in tears listening and writing! Three sheer sadness emanating from these beautiful people knowing the emotions were no act and how they respected, adored, loved, admired and cherished Kristoff! Throughout the years of memorials and this one was by far the most difficult. All he had recently endured with losing his son a few years earlier then dealing with depression himself and to see such love and adoration shared in his memory just broke my heart pieces and its still breaking. I'm certainly praying for his family. My son passed at age 18 from Stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma and its the most devastating loss in this world.
I'm so happy to see so much time dedicated to Kristoff throughout the week leading up to this episode. Nothing but praises to the highest to Y & R for this beautiful and sweet remembrance! And this young lady, Lorin, sang as if she had been a cast member for the last 10 years and knew Kristoff as long cause she certainly sang that with every ounce of emotion! I'm just so thankful to have seen this beautiful tribute to such a beautiful person!💖💖💖💖💖

I don’t watch the show, but I walked in my house when this was playing and I had to find out who was singing that immediately! Loren, you have a outstanding voice! One of the most beautiful renditions of Amazing Grace I’ve ever heard.
So very tragic. Dying of a broken heart over his child's passing- unable to deal with life. He sure tried. I'm thankful he gave us his art over the years in film. I remember his first from The Bad News Bears TV series when he was a kid- and I was so excited when you joined this Soap all those years ago.
