I have been using chatgpt to help me learn more about robotics. Using Arduino and sensors. It is scary how much it has helped me compared to a few years ago when trying to learn something in tech. Before I would use TH-cam, books, practice and fail. Spend hours trying to figure out where I messed up in the code and it be a capital problem lol 😂. Major difference, and just the beginning.

I love you, I was hesitant to use chat gpt because I didn't want it to write all the code for me, but after seeing your thumbnail I gave it a try and asked it some questions and it actually gave me great advice. I even had a problem with a small project I was doing to make a media player it is something I set off to do to learn python in my own way. I asked it what was wrong with my code and pasted it in the chatgpt input bar and it found two places in my code where i messed up and after going back and fixing them it worked perfectly. Again I thank you for showing up on my youtube page or else I would have been struggling with looking up and searching through documents and not understand what the heck I am looking at.

As part of my project, I will be developing an artificial intelligence system using Python. ChatGPT free version didn't give me what I wanted, so I switched to version four and within two months I had developed a complex AI system, even though I wasn't familiar with Python.

I’ll be 50 in October and I remember learning computers way back in the day. We had to give it very basic commands using < > before the command and/or using ? before a question. I’m trying to think of learning something like Python along those lines.
I have to be honest, I don’t see any Boomers learning this and most of my generation (Gen X) has no interest in AI unless they’re forced to for their jobs.
That being said, I think it’s really important for everyone to learn how to work with AI, particularly ChatGPT. Far too many of my peers are stuck on Facebook.

I like using chatGPT and bard for building exercise, projects, mini projects study guides, flash cards and much more. The more I use them I'm learning how to fine tune the questions I ask. The only problem with ChatGPT and other generative AI is that it cannot verify its own code. You never know for sure if it is working especially when you try to add more detail to your request. Sometimes it just forgets its previous responses so be careful and check AI solutions.
P.S. I asked ChatGPT if I'm right. Here is its answer: "You're correct that there can be instances where the model might provide responses that seem inconsistent or forgets previous interactions. It doesn't have a memory of past interactions, so each response is generated independently of previous ones. Users should be cautious and double-check the information provided by AI models, especially when adding more context or details to a request."

I'm sorry, but chatgpt is actually not as good as you think. It can't even iterate properly or efficiently through a jagged array using nested for loops. It provides false solutions. For example, code provided to take input from a user for a few integers and pulling the records from a jagged array does not display the correct records. Language models will not be replacing programmers any time soon.

I think enterprise versions of these models will be sold to companies at a premium that guarantees nothing that employees enter into the model will be stored or used to train other public models. Also, last I checked chatGPT doesn't train on the prompts its given anyway (this is a whole different type of training and is not the way the model was originally created) so I don't think its much of a concern, unless openAI is storing user prompts for its own purposes. It used to save prompts, but this is no longer the case.

I have never done any coding in my life. Where do I start?

@@Ghostlynotme445 I run a small marketing company. We manage our projects and clients with so many applications. It's really expensive having all these platforms that do different things. If I knew how to code I could reduce the number of apps we are using and combined them into one thing. I also dream of producing little educational video games and I would need to know how to at least explain what I'm thinking to our coders and the Ai we use. I know games and apps are different bit I'm hoping the core concepts will be the same.

You're doomed if you think you can write python with chatgpt. Stop the lies people. Just concluded the IBM data science course and chat got failed at basic definitions.
Very soon you guys are gonna say you can learn JavaScript on chat gpt

In the end AI learns less talented people write bad code, they previously did with copy paste from google.
The more talented people don't really need it.
There's too much people in the IT world that have no clue what they're doing. Most of them studied something completely different and use IT as a safetynet.

the downside of any AI model is that you can't actually learn Programming language if you didn't study it before, even if you studied it before and then started to use AI, look how you knowledge will degrade after 1 year of using AI
