Click Beetle Jumping to Surprising Sounds

Series of videos of a Click Beetle jumping in real time and slow motion. Surprising sound effects were added later during editing to be silly. (There were no sounds when the beetle was filmed jumping. It jumped on its own.) Enjoy!

What proportion of the time do they land upright v. upside down?

Seems to be 50-50. You would think they would be better at landing on their feet, but maybe the important aspect is changing location instead.
