- The portrait of Angelique in the room that was hers shows how great her influence was on all of the inhabitants of Collinwood. As Quentin's new wife, Maggie will have a tough time filling the shoes of Angelique.
Hoffman was SOOOOOO different and SOOOOOO hard core in parallel time. I love watching her 😂😂
Will, Carolyn and Barnabas - love these scenes.
Absolutely.
I can't get over how weird it is to see characters that I know behaving so differently! This is so cool! I'm really enjoying this! TFS! ~Janet in Canada
QUITE FASCINATING STORY OF PARALLEL TIME !!
I will be all for Magie!
I don't like the way Roger and Hoffman treat her.
@@jonhinson5701 This follows somewhat the storyline of "Rebecca". Mrs. Danvers was very cruel to the new Mrs. de Winter, too.
@@jonhinson5701 they are terrible.
But Quentin wasn't very kind either ...

Just found this last night.Actually have always liked Dark Shadows ever since Barnabos appeared with Willie Loomis..Thought the same thing about Rebecca...What a great movie...
Poor Maggie, always getting the brunt of it 💯
Past, present, parallel time, she can't escape it.
At least regular time Maggie has a spine. Regular time Maggie would have chewed up Hoffman and spit her out.
I think PT Quentin Collins is the second most loathsome member of the entire Collins family, edged out only by the miserly and narrow-minded Judith Collins-Trask of 1897 Collinwood. (RT and PT Gabriel Collins come in third as the most despicable Collins.)
PS The new Mrs. Quentin Collins apparently prefers white undergarments.
Carolyn & Willie Loomis helped Barnabas to arrange a space at the old house where he could rest during the day.
Q uentin in,one,of,his,moods😂
The Eagle? Where is the blue whale? 😂 I hope at least they changed that music
Yeah, and instead of The Blue Whale’s unfailingly convivial Bob Rooney (portrayed by ex-NYC fireman Bob O’Connell), they have some other quintessential Irish-American bartender (portrayed by the late, great Kenneth McMillan of “The Pope of Greenwich Village” fame) playing The Eagle’s head bartender/proprietor.
I don't care for these versions of Carolyn and Julia!!
Not to mention Stokes and Roger.
In a way that's a valid response. However, they are the Parallel Time Julia and Carolyn, so they were written as completely different people. They are not the same as those living in ordinary time 1970.
@@emilyannfrancesmay3919 True
Totally understand. I'm kind of enjoying how different they are, just because it's so strange to see it. Especially Julia aka "Hoffman." Except she's SOOOOOO mean to Maggie. She knows exactly how to make her feel small ...
What I dont get and I never heard reason is if quentin hated angelique so much why did he marry her, I dont get it.
She tricked him
@@brendaamata9233 I must have missed that scene.
