  • The McChicken from McDonalds is a classic fast food item and it's delicious, but not exactly low in calories. This is a recipe that makes two McChicken style sandwiches that are HIGH in protein and LOW in calories! Only 550 calories with 57g of protein for both combined! The McDonald's versions are 820 calories and has only 30g of protein. These chicken sandwiches are meaty, delicious, and can help you with your weight loss goals!

    The biggest differences for the calories and macros between yours and the McD’s seems to be the light mayo (and less of it) and the bread. It’s too bad fast food places don’t offer those kind of changes.

    Drink a lot of water with this one. Those buns are high fiber, 15 g. Between two of them, you're getting *_30 frickin' grams of fiber._* That's so much fiber-about the total daily need for most people-all at once. Plan your day around bathrooms and rest stops if you eat this haha. Conversely, fiber can constipate you if you are dehydrated, hence the "drink water" advisory. Looks good though, like a great alternative and a nice way to change up the usual meal with a ground bird.

    I don't have an air fryer anymore.. it got fried. I do have a fryer pan I can use in the oven so I can make this. My wife loves spicy chickens and the McChicken is the only thing she will get from MCds. This is one we will try. She's obsessed with the quesadillas from the prior video. I make those at least two times a week. So I know she likes the recipes. A little adjustments are needed on some but so far everyone has been a hit.
