I doubt he can sue the department.. he was fleeing on a motorcycle.. I have seen Arkansas State Police pit or ram a motorcycle at speeds where they deem the person will survive. Usually like 30 and under. I guess depends on department policies. Would love to see a Nevada Highway Patrol pack. Back in the day NHP had a lamborghini diablo as a chaser for high speed chases.
So, @SteveTheGamer55, if I may be so bold: after you mark a speeding vehicle following behind them, but BEFORE you activate your lights and sirens to pull the vehicle over, you should request a vehicle plate check from the Dispatcher; doing this will determine whether the vehicle has an outstanding warrant or other traffic infractions. It will make the process quicker, and you are forewarned to determine your initial actions when conversing with the driver. This is a suggestion, but it is also the actions our police forces perform, procedurally, here in the Vancouver, BC, region. FYI. It is your stream, of course, so it is your decision how to play the game.
