- Hello and welcome to my 2023 ultimate VRChat avatar guide video where I show you many quest friendly worlds that include various categories of avatars. In this video I show off where to get some really great Egirl/Eboy, Furry, Memes, Couple Avatars, Anime avatars and more! If you enjoy the video make sure to let me know. Also if you think of any worlds or kinds of avatars that I might of missed let me know in the comments and if I can get enough ideas together I'll make a part 2 including all of them!

Absolutely amazing video, I will definitely be pointing newer VRC players to this to find some new avatar ideas. I do have one that has a LARGE amount of kemono/japanese furry style avatars, but they are mostly for testing the avatars for purchase on Booth, and a lot of them are PC only without showing it on the pedestal. There are some good ones that can be used as public avatars, however. It's called KOGE's Workplace

When i first started playing vrc in February of 2022 i used to use noodle box's avis but i was very against anything even hinting at erp which made avi hunting with friends who found those ones funny very hard. Now that im more comfortable with myself and my boundries i have no problems with avis like that. Now im just picky with styles of avis ;-;

For desktop users I recommend Cracky-chan's King's Raid avatars. Pretty much all of them have locomotion and some of them have movable hands via the action menu.

id have to look at the name but I found some avatars in the tactical category that actually use ammo whenever you fire, have to manually reload, and you can customize the guns
Edit: Found it (Musketeer Safe House - Avatars) It has some pysbone avatars that I as a quest user sadly cant use but there are still avatars where others can interact and guns that dont have an endless magazine

there is just ONE you really need, prismic's avatar search, its better version of "dullish", finds you every avatar you could ever want, AND has filter for quest! that can also find the "clone only" models with creator name based search that look like "limited edition", to able to clone they gotta be public so nothing TOS breaking finding them with this, just easier!
BUT i get it you couldnt just make video like "here avatar search world, thats it folks", gotta make some variety showcase of actual worlds too to be "proper vrc creator"!
I just realized the dullish world was only search world in 2023, this video popped up in algorithm NOW MID 2024!

what does that meann
It is really important to say to new people to take care about avatar complexity. If it is very poor quality, it will weight a lot, a lot of polygons, and that will make you not be seen by many.
And many of the avatar worlds have these heavy complexity avies. I don't know the ones on this video, but I bet most are (you can tell when hair and tail, etc. move a lot. It creates flexibility and it is nice, but it adds a lot more complexity)
For the robot thing who ever wants cooler glowing and not to big try deviltechs (world name: the grid I believe currently 2.2)
Miss the old 2018/2019 Music/Cancer avatars, using to find these backwater russian worlds with crazy avatars and I wonder if anyone knows of any still around?
Not to blast publics but going to a private box world to mess around in for the nostalgia sake
4's Hideout has tactical anime girls. I'm not sure if any are Quest friendly though.

That first furry one was the first world I ever visited.
The first world I remember visiting was probably a super super old version of midnight rooftop!
My only complaint is that there aren't any anime style avatars that _aren't_ from an actual anime (I'm talking models such as Rindo, Rusk, and other lesser known ones as well).
Otherwise this is a very helpful video.
Ohh true, I think there's a few categories of avatars I could think of that didn't make it to the video, if I end up making a 2nd one I'll try to remember to include avatars like this
@@JustLuckyVR one map I'll recommend is called "Fire's avatars."
It has multiple anime style models, many of which are very customizable. One notable model is a medium sized Rusk model (~1.2m) which is pretty nice for people who find the regular Rusk model to be too small.
And yes, that's what I'm using as my pfp.

omg i saw a guy in the black cat with the blue and white fox one at 12:24 yesterday and was wondering where he got it, he only said it was public lol. (I never thought i was a furry but it is just so fun to be a fox and have fun little moving ears and a tail :D so maybe i am?? idk much about what being a furry is lol.)

Hmm...not really what I'm looking for...but also there's a world called...Prism avatar search (correct me if I spelled prism wrong) and I'm pretty sure it works the same way
Prismics Avatar Search! I made a short about it a while ago because I love that world but it wasn't out yet when I made this video. I do think it's better than any other avatar search world at this point.

The nexus avatar world is not that quest friendly after I enabled the avatar thing my game crashed is there a way I could check out the avatars without crashing?
I never had that issue so I'm not really sure how to fix it, I'm sorry :(

When you turn into an avatar you can be that avatar anywhere in any world!

Question: on mobile theres no search button on private room so it confuses me and then worlds with links don't work like zombie tags link on vr chats website so its very annoying do you know why this happens?

okay but every avatar tag in vrchat says it’s only for pc now :( including every world you mentioned here, idk if it’s a bug or what but every avatar world even if it has quest in the name has pc only avatars :(.

I'm not exactly sure how that process works because I don't use a quest but that's definitely a thing

So basically all of these avatars work on quest? I just got a quest 3 and I’m still learning things. My pc friend found worlds but none of us could see each others avatars, I’m just super lost since I’m brand new. It would be great if someone could help 😊
Welcome to VRChat! So mostly all of the Avatars in these worlds will work on quest, some won't but most will. If you're every curious which ones will and which one, one the avatar picture there is little circles in thetop right. Green and Blue circles means that it's both PC and Quest friendly.
@@JustLuckyVR thank you so much! I’m loving Vr so far. That helps a lot. That makes more sense but I can’t use any of the avatars. Every single ones says very poor. Is there a fix to this or do you have to play on PC to use custom characters

huh that's really strange. I'd probably suggest looking up the issue and looking for people with similar problems on reddit. I've never used the quest platform before so I don't have a lot of experience on how to fix issues with it. I hope you figure it out though!@@shaunv6155
Anything that shows that it's quest friendly with the green bubble should be able to be used by players using the quest for vrchat

I used to be a big fan of astraious' avatars, but then i meet astraious herself. She was nasty mean and super duper entitled. And talked down to everyone like she was all high and mighty. Lost all respect for her. And removed ALL of her avis from my favorites
