So enjoyed hearing about Bella’s beautiful God love story and how He has been unfolding so many opportunities in her life for such a time as this. 💜 And I always enjoy hearing conversations on how the Body of Christ is actually supposed to be LEADING the way in the arts (and other spheres as well) in culture in general because we love and passionately follow the MOST CREATIVE ONE of ALL. I remember in the late 90s in Nashville there were continually healthy conversations and solid teachings on a lot of this down at The Foundry fairly close to downtown. It was an amazing 3 month long class called The Crucible Class that met once a week with small groups and fantastic teachers. Of course, Ray Hughes was always one of the speakers each semester and such a breath of fresh air for all of us. It wasn’t as extensive as something like BSSM, but the Holy Spirit absolutely shifted so much for all of us and basically ruined us in such a good way! I’ve often wondered if it may have been a little similar to Rita’s DIVE classes. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
God is moving through the arts. Bringing truth, beauty, and righteousness through all creative expression. We’re in a new Renaissance. Whether overt or covert, He influences through creativity. It’s our worship and our weapon of war (Zechariah 1:19-21). Our ministry, Kingdom Creativity International is arming creatives for such a time as this. Well done Rita and Bella for bringing the light of Christ through your gifting and anointing!
The beauty of ART is not just worship but warfare [in JOY] being our salvation! This is the powerful expression for the unchurched! This has been the greatest lack of celebration by the church. It is where we as the unexpected ARISE with the tools the Lord has given us to call people into freedom!!!
But the artists went off the rails during emergent and Deconstruction. Can we raise up artists with strong orthodox beliefs, fear of the Lord, and holiness? We need artists who are not worldly rebels. Around 44:00
